Why didn't I get an email?

I have the Disney Visa and didn't receive a notification on the free dining this year. It's not a big deal since we won't be going until December, but I was really hoping to get a code for a room or package discount for our stay. Not getting a notice on the free dining has me worried that I won't get any of the other discounts that come out. I've only had the card for maybe a month so maybe that has something to do with it?

I didn't get mine until this morning.....I've had my card for a couple of years and use it regularly. Statement came yesterday, nothing on promo in envelope (just a disclosure about how it will get more expensive to goof)

Email this a.m.....good thing I'm not going during the dates offered, its be ticked if I missed the resort I wanted b/c they decided to send the email in batches.

You have to make sure that they have your email address so call them to make sure.

I've had my Disney VISA for several years and have never gotten a notification of specials, until yesterday. Thanks, to the DIS I knew about and was able to call for free dining yesterday at 0700 ET. I did finally get the email from my Disney VISA at 4:00pm ET yesterday advertising it.

Same story here....I booked free dining pkg at 7:00 yesterday morning...DH got the email from visa at 12:00 noon. HA-- - Thanks a lot Chase! Thank goodness for these boards!

I've had the Disney Visa for 3 years and have never received an email about Disney discounts. They do have my email. They send me emails for other things, but never anything regarding Disney.

Thanks everyone. In a way I'm glad I'm not the only one. Now I know to keep a close eye out on the boards here. I applied online so they should have my email address, but I haven't opened my online account with them yet so that I can make online payments, etc. so that may have something to do with it too. I'll try and get that done yet this week and see if that helps.

It doesn't matter, because we are going in 5 days, but as another poster said, I hope this doesn't mean we are missing some notices. We did get a notice several months back about a special offer, which we also couldn't use, so hopefully this time just an abberation....

Hopefully the folks who don't get the emails, have gone online and set up an online account. You can set your profile to tell it what you want it to send you. Mine sends me reminders and/warnings if there are any transactions over $101. Both me and DH get all types of Chase/Disney emails telling me about upcoming Disney promotions, movie tickets, and other Disney related stuff. You need to visit chase.com/disney to set up your account.

I have an online account. I've had one since I got the card. I pay my account online. I get reminders but never Disney information.

We got our FD promo around 2pm yesterday. But I did go online with Disneyrewards.com yeaterday and update my account info. It's a good idea if you have not done it lately. I did find out they had an extra phone # listed for me that I have never seen before, in my life!

I too didn't get my email until today (4/8) at 6:00 am. I kept checking my spam folder until I turned on the computer this morning.

I got a 40% pin, valid for our dates in mid August, and it's a better deal for us anyway.
