Why didn't anyone tell me how expensive UGG boots are???

I am a person who gets hot easily so the real Uggs are just too much fur for me. I bought myself a pair of "Fuggs" (fake Uggs) today from the Christmas Tree Shop for $10. They had several styles, so I chose the pair with less lining...even if they only last a few months that is good with me. They had kid's sizes for $6.99.

I bought my DD Bearpaws at Bobs Store not a bad price I had a coupon. So came out to 45 dollars. Her foot grew from a size 4 to women size 6.
It does bother me that now they are made in china. I just don't see the advantage of buying them now.

I don't doubt that you have an old pair of Australian UGGs that have held up very nicely. However, since 2004, UGG boots have been made in China and are not made with the same quality as the original boots. The price is still high but the quality is not nearly as good as it used to be.

I have a pair from Christmas 2008 that were made in New Zealand. Ultra Talls.
