Why did you choose your particular DISboard avatar?

Following from Ms. Shuttergirl's questions about your name choice, I thought the avatar choice might be interesting.

DISboards has a large choice of 'readymade' avatars and I seem to see a lot of people with ariel and the shaking head Dalmatian.
A number don't seem to choose an avatar either.

So what made you choose yours if you did choose one?

On other sites I do change fairly regularly making various ones from photos I have. The size requirements on DIS is more difficult to do it for though which makes it a pain so on here I've only had 2. One with Minnie as seen in Legend of Mythica and now one with Stitch. The reason for Stitch is because I adore him Plus this specific photo brings back wonderful memories from him doing a conga line at Castaway cay

Cheese is my most favouritest cartoon character. I can't help but laugh when I look at him

I had to choose from the readymade options cause I'm a techno-novice and have no idea of how I'd upload my own! I liked Arial but it seem so many have it and then I saw the Nemo one. I like it because it's so bright and cheerful, which is how I feel when planning a Disney trip, and because I think Nemo is very cute

I've never bothered with one mainly because I'm not really a Disney nut . Maybe that will change after this trip, but thus far I haven't been inspired enough to upload an avatar.

Oh, duh, of course it is!!! That's why he is so familiar to me because my girls have watched The Little Mermaid and The Little Mermaid II heaps more than Finding Nemo. I wasn't really thinking who it was when I picked it, I just loved the colours, and then when I described my avatar, I guess I thought "fish"= "Nemo" : I well know Nemo is a little orange fish because we see them when we snorkel in Fiji
