So asks Destiny as she pushes Gymnastic Barbie's bare butt into my face. "Rio Barbie has panties on." (Okay, Rio Barbie actually has a swimsuit on, but whatever).

What to say?? "Gymnastic Barbie couldn't afford to have painted on panties. She has to use cloth ones." or perhaps "Gymnastic Barbie needed no panties so she could do some really great balance bar routines."

What if she starts questioning why Ken has no....well, you know. Was Ken too poor to afford one? Wow, the deep questions that could come just from playing!!

Reminded me of the time DD questioned why some had "panties" and others didn't. I *thought* I'd be clever. I had a black paint pen and drew a bra and some panties on the Barbie in question. Silly me. She ended up looking like a Victoria's Secret model

She might be an "older" doll...I know the newer ones had painted on panties but the older ones you usually got a pair of panties with her....but with all their financial woes they probably cut back on the panties.

I was really upset when my DD got a Kelly and she didn't have panties on! Hello!!!!!! LOL
