Does anyone know why AAA won't let you use a non-local agent to assist you with your Disney reservations. After reading post after post of people having difficulties with agents who don't do enough Disney bookings to really get the best deals, it is obviously a problem.
I called my local AAA agent here in the southeast, to book a trip to DLR. Well, she really knew nothing about the hotels in DLR or the options. Said she would call me back and never did. I am sure they mainly do trips to WDW.
I tried calling a AAA close to DLR, but they wouldn't help me. Said I had to deal with my local agents. So now I am stuck between a rock and hard place.
It seems like AAA is stuck in this old travel agent type system that was outdated by the internet 10 years ago. I can see where this was the way to go 20 years ago. Its horrible and AAA really needs to update the way they do things. I should be able to call a 1-800 number and book this without going to my local agent.
Sorry, I am steaming mad, that I want to make this reservation and I can't seem to get any help.
