Why Can't They Find My Reservation?

I have an overflow reservation made through SOG for a room at CBR on New Year's Eve. Because I sent in my payment over a month ago and have heard nothing from Disney reservations I decided to call and make sure that I was in the computer. Well.... they knew my name- phone number- address- etc. etc. but they couldn't find any reservation for me. (Even though they had cashed my check). They told me to call SOG and after being "on hold" for 45 minutes I was told by SOG that I was in their system so DON'T WORRY! This is NYE and they are telling me not to worry even though Disney can't find my reservation! What happens when I go to check in at CBR and they say....... "Sorry but we have no reservation for you"???? How can I be in SOG's system but not Disney's system when I am staying at a Disney hotel?:confused3

Have you tried contacting SOG? When I booked my overflow rate they said to contact SOG directly for any changes regarding my booking. I know they only hold reservations for a periond of tim waiting for a mail deposit so maybe yours took to long and got deleted from the system. I would call SOG directly.

Good luck I hope they find your reservation.

When you get an SOG overflow rate it is for a block of rooms alloted by Disney to SOG. Technically SOG has payed for the room already. About 5 days before the start of your stay the information will be uploaded by SOG to WDTC. Only then will they be able to see it and even then they cannot make any changes to it, only SOG can.
 
Thanks Longsx3........... I guess I wasn't very clear in my post. I did contact SOG......... they had me on hold for 45 minutes before I got through. They told me that I am in their system even though I don't show up in Disney's system. SOG told me not to worry but I want something in my hand that says I have a reservation at CBR. I don't know how it is possible to show up in the SOG system but not in the Disney system? Disney did receive my check on time and they have cashed it!
 

I booked through a travel agent because the Disney web site was having trouble. I then complained about the web site trouble to Disney. About a month later I finally got a call from Disney and they were looking at my reservation (they had the price and all). I recently made some changes and tried to view my vacation (to confirm as you did) on the web site but only got a message stating that I had to call CR. When I called they said they could not see my reservation and had no way to confirm it. I told them I knew this was not true, but they would not budge and would not even acknowledge my reservation. I sent another e-mail, hopefully they will answer sooner than the last.

You should have received a confirmation from Disney for your reservation once the deposit was made. If it has been less than a few weeks since they cashed the check I would give it a little longer, if it has been more I would call SOG back and explain to them that you never received your confirmation from Disney.
