This is typically a slow week for substituting, so I thought I could get a lot done.

I've basically done laundry and general housekeeping. Nothing else.

I get up, throw a load of laundry in and DIS. Get up, iron something and DIS. Go pick up a child and DIS. Make dinner and DIS.

I've got organizing to do, Christmas decor. to put away, gathering of old clothes for Purple Heart that were replaced with Christmas presents, two unfinished scrapbooks.....

All I do is DIS.

Says a lot about the DIS :)

Thats pretty much how my days go as well. Says alot about these fine people doesn't it.

I have the exact same problem! No sub jobs coming in, so I sit in front of the puter DISing all day!

Sounds like me too. I work for my husband from home, invoicing, payroll, etc. Right now, I'm looking at a stack of work 3-4" high and here I sit reading the threads. Okay, here goes, deep breath, - Hello, my name is Kristi and I am a DisBoards-aholic. There I said it! What am I gonna do about it you ask? I'm gonna read the next thread!!!:teeth:

I know exactly what you mean. School doesn't start for like another 2 weeks. All I keep doing is renting videos. I keep looking at the treadmill but I am so not motivated enough to get on and walk.

Maybe I'll organize something or another, but probably not.

Can I join the club. Ever since I've been home on maternity leave, Dis is all I do. Feed the baby...DIS, change the baby...DIS, Bathe the baby...DIS, Chat with hubby...DIS. At the conclusion of everything I do I DIS!!! As of right now, I'm in the midst of washing clothes and putting Christmas toys away now I'm taking a two minute breather to DIS!!!

I did nothing and had no sub work all week either. I just got a call to work tomorrow, so I'm running around trying to clean the house and take down the decs today. I also have a mountain of laundry to put away and a sink of dishes. Aargh. Get ready subs. It is flu season. You may get called in tomorrow even though it's usually slow for these two weeks.

OK. So now you know you are no different than the rest of us....I wake up and DIS, bring the kids to school and DIS, go to work, come home and DIS, do the supper and cleaning up thing, and DIS for the rest of the night. Am I addicted? Completely. I couldn't live without my laptop. But it's a pretty wholesome addiction, don't you think?::yes::

Add me to the crowd. I've been DISing ALL the time! I just started classes again this week. Think I cracked a book? Not yet! I better get back in student mode!

I can totally relate. My computer is in my living room and you have to walk right past it everytime you pass through going to the kitchen or the back part of the house. I almost hear it calling my name each time I walk past. I probably log on and check the boards 10-15 times a day and then wonder why I don't get anything done around the house.
