OK so I,m trying to book my vacation on the Disney web site. I can't book it for more than 8 nights or get a ticket for more than 7 days. :guilty: I want to stay 9 or 10 nights and have a ticket that will let me park hop for the entire stay. Sounds to me like maybe Disney wouldn't mind me staying at another theme park/resort for the other few days I can't book through them.

What are you supposed to do if you want to stay longer?? :earseek:
Any help would be appreciated. :D

Unfortunately for some reason their new system just will not allow for one continual stay for more than 8 nights. :( If you wish to stay longer you have to book separate stays. In addition the longest pass they offer with a package is 7 nights.
I hope this changes in the near future.

We are staying for the same amount of time and had the same problem. The CM we spoke to on the phone said that he would have to book our tickets and room separately. We couldn't do a package if we wanted to stay that long. Sooooo...we didn't book a package which means we can't get the Dining package either.

Not sure what Disney was thinking when they decided that this was a good idea?? :confused3

Wow, I guess I'm not the only one with this problem. I can't imagine Disney making it difficult for people to stay as long as they want (which would mean spending more of my money at their parks/resort)
Maybe I could just stay the other 2-3 nights at Universal. Sorry Disney.

Let me get this straight--you cannot book a package for 10 nights? Why in heavens would they not allow longer stays than 7 nights?

So in order to take advange of the new meal plan for our next trip, we have to put through two reservations to total 10 nights?

Disney is darn lucky that I love them so much or this might make me rethink my vacation plans :earboy2:

I do hope they reconsider this in the very near future. It really feels kinda un-Disney to me...like we aren't welcome there for more than 8 nights. :sad2:

that is why we book room only and buy AP's we stay for 17 nights. good luck

Gloria,
If you want the dining plan there are ways to get a 10 night stay with tickets, but it's not the most economical option. You have to split the stay, but it can be done. :( I'm not a fan of the 8 night 7 day ticket plan maximum myself. I do hope they rethink it soon.

Sue Ellen:

I have the uppermost faith in your ability to put together the best package for our next trip!! At least ours is 8 1/2 months out so we have a little time to see what is happening.
