"Every 2 year Trip (according to DH)
[/SIZE]

Ok so not the most catching title, but I really didn't know what else to call it.

I's official!!! We are officially going back to disney, but for the first time in October!!! We stayed at ASMusic last year for 2 days in September prior to going on a cruise last year, and ever since we rode the monorail past MK, I have been wanting to go back in the fall more than ever!!! Last year was our first time ever staying on WDW property. We have stayed at Shades of Green several times, but never a disney resort. We will be staying at Old Key West in a 2 bedroom condo. Any suggestions on a room request? We will driving down all 14 LOOOOOOOOOONNG hours, but it will save us almost a thousand dollars, and since this trip is happening a year early, we are saving where ever we can. We were originally planning on going Dec 2012, but my parents had a timeshare week that needed to be used, and Mom said what better way to spend it than a week at Disney :woohoo: Well I guess that's a about it for the main details...

Up next: The cast a crew!!

Well, YAY for getting to go this year and not having to wait til 2012! :cool1:
Look forward to reading more popcorn::

We got a disney visa offer with a $200 GC!!!
WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT
:banana::woohoo::yay::dance3::cool1::woohoo:
That's $200 more into the disney fund!!!

So here is our schedule so far... just a rough draft

Friday Drive home

:sad2::guilty::sad1:

We may end up in the parks on Saturday, it just depends on how tired we are. We are planning on leaving by 6am on Friday and driving straight through about 14 hours. We have to go get our tickets Saturday morning, so depending on how tired we are, we may just do DTD or visit some resorts, or just hang out at the pool. We are starting off we just the 4 day military ticket, but may end up buying an extra 1 day ticket. It's 50 dollars less to do it that way, and we are going to have 2 days less than we normally have. Anywhoo... What do ya'll think? oh and resturant suggestions please!!!

My only concern is no mornings at DHS. You may not get to ride TSM because of long lines and no FP. Maybe you don't want to? That's one of our top things to do this trip. :goodvibes

We will be at the same MNSSHP!:thumbsup2

I definetly didn't realize I had done that??? Although DH and I had rather do PM hours. We may or may not go to MK that morning, just depends on what we have done previously in the week. TSM is open for EMH right?

So I definelty just realized, I never did an introduction of who all will be going...

First off me!

Hi! I'm Leanne. A 24 almost 25:eek: year old loving all things disney wife to a WONDERFUL husband Tim. You'll get to meet him next! I have been to disney so many times as a kid, and this will be the 4th time with DH. Disney will always be so special to us, as on DH first trip with us, he proposed!!! He said we maybe not be able to get married at disney, but I can give you the next best thing...

Sorry I just had to share!!
Anwhoo... here's me...

Hopefully by the time we go, I will be about 50lbs lighter (fingers crossed)

Next up the DH

So I know... it's not disney... but this is his favorite thing to do..

This is my WONDERFUL husband Tim. He is a 29 year old fantabulous husband (so maybe I'm a little biased)that is slowly learning his love for disney. He only went once as a child, and the next time he went was in 2007 when he went with me and my mom and dad. The only thing he remembered until this was space mtn chocked him haha (It was actually his dad trying to keep him in the car when he decided he wanted off mid ride) He was a little hesitant at first saying we just went in 09, but then when Mom asked him he caved... yeah he's a sucker lol

Next up is Mom

Last trip we took to disney was for her 65th birthday, but we didn't do the parks. We were only there for 2 days before we went on a cruise. She was the instigator behind the trip. I've been wanting to go back in the fall after we were there for 2 nights last year, and she called with a we have a RCI week that needs to be used, do ya'll want to do to disney in october this year?? It was ON after that lol

And last but not least is dear ol' Dad
P5080023.jpg

This is the man responsible for my love of disney!!! What can I say and I am a big time daddy's girl, and yes I still call him daddy, or rather deddy or fazza as I always have. He now admits he's a sucker for me, but who are we kidding... everyone has always known that lol Dad turns 70 in July, so DH and I are looking into giving him a tour for his bday. He has always wanted to do the keys to the kingdom tour, and DH says he'd like to too... so we are looking into it. Has anyone else ever done it, what did you think?

and now for our beautiful baby girl that we will be leaving at home unfortunatly

Sorry I couldn't post just one lol This is our beautiful 4 year old english spinger spanial that's our sweet baby girl!!! She is a hot mess, and loves going to anywhere and everywhere we go... We really should have named her shadow. She is rotten to the core, and we wonder if she knows she is a dog lol... Sometimes my mom and dad are more crazy over her than we are. We had debated on taking her with us and kennelling her at WDW, but we worry about her riding in the car that long (14 hours), and it would be about 250 to kennel her for the week. At this point we are going to get someone to take her out and feed her, or she will stay with a family member.

Welp... that's about it for the cast and crew of this production... up next... dining plans

Hey!! I'm here! Your plans look good and I looooove the way your DH proposed! And your ring is gorgeous!
Look at your little baby. She looks so sweet!!
Sorry I don't have any restaurant suggestions, we're only just going to sit down restaurants ourselves haha.

I think it's sweet that you're going with your parents. I think the tour is a GREAT idea for your dad's birthday. I've never done a tour, but I've always wanted to.

Thanks for joining me!! Thanks!! It will always be remembered by all!!! The best part was when he put the ring on my finger, wishes started :cloud9:

We always go with Mom and Dad and it is so much fun!! DH and I did the segway tour in epcot and it was really interesting to get to learn different secrets about it.

For a quick update... as far as planning goes.. I need to redo my plans. I thought you had to have a park ticket plus MNSSHP ticket, but I found out differently, so I'm going to rearrange my days.

I have one more week of classes then it's summer thank goodness, but I'm taking a class but only for 8 weeks, and it's only 1 versus 4 so thats a breeze right??? Let's hope (fingers crossed)

Hopefully I will have a new "plan of attack" for you tomarrow night. I have to work tomarrow, so it won't be tonight... 5 comes oh too early..

Night everyone!!

So i have updated our schedule since I found out that you don't have to have a park ticket plus a MNSSHP ticket. I may still change some things around, because I'm debating on doing MNSSHP on Tuesday instead, but I think I'd like to do EPCOT's PM EMH, so I'm going to do a little more thinking about it and then we will see... I be sure to let youknow, but for now... this is the plan!!

So after some debating, and talking about everything we wanted to do, we've decided to change our plan around a little. We are going to do MNSSHP Tuesday instead of Sunday. I hope the crowds won't be any different. Since we are having our free day on Wednesday, I figured it would be a good night to stay out late!!

Friday Drive home

We always make a trip down to Titusville. For anyone who hasn't been there it's about 45 minutes away and it was wonderful little town right on the ocean and home to the BEAUTIFUL Cocoa Beach. There is a resturant called Dixie Crossroads and it out of this world delicious!!! They have rock shrimp that taste like a mix of shrimp and lobster and are FABULOUS!!!

So the good news is... I'm still living!!! The bad news is... I may have a stroke before this class is over, and I'm only in week 3 :rotfl::sad1:

I am taking stats, and it is absolutly horrible, and to top it off, I'm taking it online :headache:

Anywhoo... on the planning front... We are trying to decide on a dilemma. Our reservations are Friday to Friday at OKW. We are trying to decide if we want to drive half way on Thursday night, and drive the rest of the way Friday morning, getting there around lunch time to get our tickets and get settle to hit the parks first thing saturday morning, then leave coming home on friday, OR do we want to leave bright and early Friday morning, get there around bedtime, then get up Saturday morning go get tickets and either do a park, or just have a rest day, and come home on Friday. What would you do?

If I had the time and could swing the hotel room Thursday night I would do the halfway thing. I just remember how dead we were driving from Indiana in one shot on our way down. Got there at dinner time. Had enough time to go to a park but we just grabbed QS and fell asleep. It was hard getting up the next morning.

This is what we have done in the past, but we thought about driving straight through. I was wondering what the general census was for driving straight through. I'm thinking we are probably go to drive to Georgia somewhere and spend the night, then drive the rest the next morning. It is a horrible to start your vaca tired, much less being tired at Disney!! Thanks for your response... I'm heading over to your PTR now!!

I need some help from you disers...

I am going to make a confession... We are less than 4 months away, and I am not jumping for joy about it :confused3 I have not the slightest clue what has happened to me. I have fallen into a rut. I think I just really want a vacation no matter where it is, but I don't even feel like planning anything more than when we are going and how we are getting there lol

Can I get some help from my dis friends please?!?! I need to get moving and planning underway. At this point, where should I start. The only thing we have done is made our resie at OKW. I havn't stayed on disney more than over night, maybe I'm feeling overwhelmed:confused3 What should I do next? A room request? Dining? Schedule?

Oh my! I don't know what to say. The two trips we've taken with the kids I was in planning mode/overload. You should definitely plan some meals. You'll need to get a feel of which parks you're visiting on which day so find the extra magic hours and go from there (personally I avoid them like the plague). Sorry I don't have links for you, it's 2AM and I'm getting ready to go to bed. I had more fun when I planned with the dining plan. Just so much more to prepare for. I've even got the routes (bus/boat/monorail/cab) we are taking to/from each place written down this time. Good luck, maybe watch a few Travel Channel specials. That always perks up my Disney mood. I think you can get some of them from the library. I've heard that some behind the scenes type ones were available on Netflix.

Fingers crossed, we may have some company on our trip!!! We went to my aunts for the 4th, and my cousin and her 2 kids were there, and we got to talking about disney, and she said her daughter wants to go, but I told her, I wanted you to go with us. She thought that would be awesome!! I asked her when she was thinking about going, and she said mid october... :woohoo: oh my oh my oh my... That's when we are going to!!! I told her we were going the 14th through the 21st. She said well I've actually been looking at hotels for the 18th through the 22nd. I really hope it works out!! I haven't spent time with them since I graduated high school, minus day trips. I used to spend at least half of my summer, if not more at her house. She has a 12 year old and and 8 year old. Allison (12) is all about rides, and says no to nothing, and Jacob (8) is perfectly content on aladins magic carpets lol It would be so awesome, and allison said the best part, is she wouldn't have to ride byherself, and she would actually get to ride everything!!! I am so excited, can you tell a little. I will let you know when I know, but we will definetly have to rearrange our schedule, but I defeintly do not mind!!
