What is the difference between Bazzill cardstock and other (less expensive) cardstock? I keep seeing Bazzill mentioned specifically. Is it better quality, more colors...why is it preferred?

Thanks!

I love Bazzill because of the texture and the colours. The quality of the cardstock is very good. I really love the availability of all the different shades, most specifically the monochromatic sets. It makes coordinating colours so easy. The results always look good and nicely finished.
Hope that helps!

I agree with bclydia. The colors are just awesome & so easy to match! Each color comes in several shades, so doing shadows on letters is easy & looks great. I also really like the texture.

I've bought other ala carte textured CS at Michaels and think the quality is excellent as well. However, the selection was poor. Green came in what I'd call celery green & forest green - that's it. Maybe it was just my Mikes, I don't know. :confused3 The LSS had Bazzill in multiple colors of green and each color came in at least 3 shades.

Plus they had brads that matched each color. My LSS only had round mini brads in one shade per color, but I'd gotten some mini flower brads online that came in a package with 3 shades of green together...so they must sell each.

Oh - and I've seen eyelets online that look like they were Bazzill as well.

Soooooooooooo many color choices and also many hues of the same colors.

Texture of the paper feels great.

Just can't get enough of this cardstock.

Thanks for that...I have been also wondering what the difference is between Bazzill paper and regular paper.

Beautifully put and I agree totally. I purchased some cardstock early on in my scrapping life, some in packs, and the colors didn't match anything! But that is what I had...

I agree with the others. Bazzill has more colors, textures and is easy to match. I also used Die Cuts with a View textured cardstock from time to time. It is alot like bazzill, but often can be found in packs on sale.

i have purchased alot of off brand and cheaper cardstocks and its just been a waste of $. 2 brands in particular I have had issues with fading in under 3 years. :earseek:

I love this cardstock. It is the only CS I use. The texture and the thickness is wonderful. It works beautifully with Chatterbox (which is my favorite paper line). The colors are spectacular!! :Pinkbounc

I guess I'll be shopping for some of this. How much do you usually pay for Bazzill CS and where do you find it at the best price?

Thanks for all the feedback

I find that usually online is where I can get the best prices. Ebay is also a great place to buy it from. Many of the ebay stores carry it. Two Peas in a bucket has it, Scrapbarn, oh there are too many sites to list. Once you use this paper you will never go back.
