Why are there so many Boardwalk villas for resale ??

I would agree that life happens, and what may have worked for someone 5-10 years ago may not work now.

Since OKW and BW are the 2 oldest of the DVC resorts, it would make sense that they would be the first to go in resales.

Maybe some folks are htinking they like the location of SSR better, and are selling BWV to buy at SSR?

i own bwv since 99 and have had the furthest possible room from the lobby..good thing for bellhops so i didnt have to carry my bags...on the other hand i was the closest room to mgm..8 minute walk door to door..cant beat that....when i go to disney two things sre certain..1 is alot of walking so the room location and walks thier dont bother me at all and the other is you are going to spend a ton of money....hopefully everyone who doesnt like the walk will book elsewhere and maybe i get closer...i dont what to get closer too...

I know alot of this is just fun, but is the BWV really that far away??? We have used the entrance to the resort, how far away is the villas?? Are they near the ESPN bar??? or Fantasia Golf? Could I have missed them completely? I didn't realize the area was that big?

When you are looking at the Boardwalk resort, the buildings that are painted white (i.e. above ESPN and Spoodles) is the Inn side.
The buildings that are colored (i.e over Jellyrolls and Big River Grill and Brew Works) is the Villas side.
The hallways are not that long. Certain posters on the DIS just say this in jest to get a reaction from the rest of us.
At times it can become a bit tiresome.
I love the hallways at the Boardwalk. Why? Because I am at WDW!
It's a great resort with THE BEST location on property.

After reading this thread I'm thinking about selling my BWV points so I can move to a place that has big rooms, isn't close to anything and allows me to park outside my unit.

Yes I'm moving to the Vistana!
