why are so many having problems making reservations 90 days out?

I have been reading a lot of posts about people having problems making reservations 90 days out. It this just duing free dining? It seems like it is more often than not right now. Is there any talk about Disney going back to the 180 days out? We are planning a trip for the middle of November and I am getting worried we wont be able to make the reservations we are looking for!!

I think right now it is free dining coupled with the new adr system Disney is using.I am doubtful it will go back to 180 days though.

From what I've been reading on here, people have been having trouble getting ADRs because of system problems and free dining. However, the number of complaints seems to have gone down since free dining started and more people have been able to get what they want at or close to times they want. Part of this is probably because the initial free dining rush is starting to fade (as Labor Day approaches, I think less people are willing to take their kids out of school so early) and the system is getting better.
