Why are my son's diapers purple?

That's strange... here there is a price difference, not a huge one, but they are more expensive none the less. I have to disagree about Pampers, I think they are the largets of the three (Huggies, Luvs and Pampers). My SIL uses them mainly for that reason (more per package with the smaller sizes). We must be in a paralell diaper universe! :rotfl: The purple on the Luvs covers the entire sides, so I think it is pretty noticible, but it's probably because I don't like it (mind over matter). Ah well, I'm a weirdo- what can I say?
:rotfl: That's OK, my DH has a thing about yellow, purple, and pink bibs. I bought a large pack of multi-colored bibs and included were 2 pink, 2 green, 2 yellow, 2 white(why white?), 2 purple, and 2 blue. Anytime I put a pink, yellow, or purple bib on Ds, DH would be right behind me taking it off and replacing it with "an appropriate color" :rolleyes1 . I asked once if he thought pink bibs would make our son gay(FWIW his mom is gay, so this was mostly tongue in cheek)? He said no, but we have to instill proper gender rolls! He couldn't hold a strait face, I guess even he knew what he said was bologna! :rotfl:

Now, here I am thinking the pampers are blue. :confused3 Then I went and looked at one and I guess it is purple. But it's kind of blue-purple. I've never had a problem with the color on either of my boys. I just bought a huge box and they changed the front "fabric". The velcro doesn't stick to it nearly as good as before. I've actually been meaning to call pampers about this. With my little wiggly worm, it makes it very hard to change his diaper. Has anyone else noticed this?

Have you tried plain old Walmart brand diapers? I think they work fine and are the cheapest out there. They re-did them a while back and I think the quality is very good. They are still solid white. ;) After 3 kids, I have never really cared what kind of diapers I buy considering what's done in them.

Those are White Cloud, right? I have tried those and I hated them. I don't care about a brand name diaper, but I have found that the store brands just aren't worth it- they smell awful to me, even when just filled with a slight amount of pee (I do have an extremely sensitive nose though, which links smells to headaches and naseua. Lucky me :rolleyes2 )

They are OK. I send them to daycare. I only use them at home every now and then...they tend to leak overnight. But I send them to daycare b/c they change him every hour anyway. :flower:

Has anyone tried the new Little Tikes diapers at Target? I'm always tempted to try a pack.
