As a Jeep owner most the Jeep groups call those Heeps! We do our best to save those poor Jeeps from a sad life of ridicule and humiliation. The only thing worse are the eyelashes!I've noticed this trend around here for people to have Jeeps with an "angry face" on them. It's like some package that gives a slant above the headlights and soemtimes red lights, etc. I've seen several of these around. I always thought Jeeps were happy little guys, all hanging loose with their no tops or doors, heading to the beach to chill. These angry jeeps are a bit much to handle.
Dan, a couple things. At least in the Jeep world those videos are pretty accurate and yes a whole lot of mall crawlers too. We sold our ATVs and now we take the Jeep out on logging roads and the beach/dunes and love it.I always find it funny that almost every suv or truck commercial shows them racing through forests on narrow trails, climbing dangerous looking mountain roads, frolicking in the deserts or racing along the beach, dodging waves coming up on the sand....
I've never understood why some drivers drive with their fog lights on all the time. ...
As for the lights, well until this current Wragler "JL" came out the long line of Jeeps had one consistacy... head lights SUCKED! I ran with my fogs and still they SUCKED. I've since put on LEDs and I can finally see. It really is a Jeep thing, and not a good thing.
You should see the big community of Jeep Dogs! My dogs LOVE our Jeep!Jeeps are probably angry because they need therapy. Or some cuddle time with a dog or cat.
You know, its funny but its some what true. But I will say every day I drive my Jeep it makes me happy and takes away the stress of my life. Mine is 10 years old and I love it as much everyday as the first day I took it home. While its not a well behaved highway vehicle, my Wangler will damn near climb a tree. When we had 16" of snow in a couple of days our community came to a standstill (we're in the desert and people are not equipped for snow) but my Jeep and I were our all day helping out, never found a snow pile it didn't chew threw. I lost count how many trucks and SUVs were stuck. If you paid 30k+ for a vehicle that drives as badly as a Wrangler, you would be angry too.
