Why are Disney parks - and movies - so damn addictive?

To me, WDW NEVER gets old. And the movies have a timeless quality.

But WDW is the clinger. I mean, they never get old and there's something about them that makes me relax yet excited!

Can't wait to go again in a few months!

Been to Disneyworld once and that was enough for me. An expensive glorified amusement park. I'm still here for this section of the forum.

Pixar movies were great. Disney, not so much. They've destroyed Star Wars and made them into Disney kid movies with the corny useless jokes.

I do wish every kid could have a trip to Disney. All kids deserve this once.

We don't find WDW addictive any longer. As far as the movies, they've always been individually appealing or not, never simply addictive as a whole.

The movies are okay, I enjoy them but don't need to see them multiple times. The parks I think either grab people in or they don't. I know many folks who are "one and done" with Disney (too hot, too crowded, too expensive etc.) For those who love the parks I think it's nostalgia, like a pp said. It's just a feeling you get, an innocence, a simpler time, pure joy.
