Why are AP's paper???

I think that's so odd that WDW uses paper APs when Disneyland uses plastic. We currently have three designs going, last year's Goofy design, a Tower of Terror graphic and a metallic blue 50th anniversary logo with Tinkerbelle and the Golden Castle.

WDW doesn't use paper for its APs... it uses a plasticized material called Tyvek, which is much more durable than plastic.

Correction aside, my point it that I'm suprised the two parks have different materials for their APs.

What are you guys doing to your AP's? I've had several of them in the past and I have one now. They all still look brand new.
