I've realized over the course of the past few days that I am obsessed with bags. I am a bag hag. Any and all types, it does not matter...designer, non-designer, backpacks, totes, luggage...they have all found their place in my collection.
My latest obsession is in finding the 'perfect' bag for my Disney trip in January, now a mere 13 days away.
Time is running out.
My first Disney bag was an Eastpack messenger bag, not a sling messenger, just the kind that was narrow and rests on your hip. I liked all the pockets, but found it to be heavy and cumbersome after being fully packed.
Next, I thought, that's it...I'll use a fanny pack. No more heavy bags for me! The fanny pack did save my back and shoulders, as I knew it would, but alas, she just doesn't have enough space.
For the next trip, I had yet another epiphany...I'll use a mini-backpack-purse, I gleefully thought! Now I'll have space while saving my sholders and back. But I was foiled yet again, when the constant removal of the backpack just made it too annoying to consider again.
All three of the aforementioned bags now reside together in a dark corner of my closet.
Now comes the task of finding 'the perfect bag' yet again...what to go with this time, that will rise to the challenge of commando days at WDW? I've read of many suggestions here on the DIS...the Baggallini messenger being top amongst the candidates, also the Travelon messenger as seen on late night QVC, the LL Bean Healthy Back backpack...I think the overall theme here is a sling-type bag is the way to go.
I am flirting with this one I found on ebags.com, a sling with a pink girly-ness about it...plus it's quite inexpensive. Do you think it will do? Should I buy a bigger sling backpack, like a school bookbag? Or do I succumb to peer pressure and get the Baggallini?
