Why Am I Crying ??? I don't understand

Has the sun not been shining for a few days? Cloudy, overcast? That always gets me. I don't even realize it's b/c the sun was gone until the sun comes back out.

??? Just another suggestion.

OMG.....I have been feeling the exact same way....Geezzzz....I boo hooed watching my soaps today, a couple of commercials made me weepy.... 2005 has been a very stressful year....This afternoonI was thinking about it and said a little prayer that 2006 would see an end to some of the stressful situations.....boom....the tears started flowing....I got over it but have been in a blue mood all day...
I think it has something to do with the sun not shining lately....and not spending much time outside.

Could you possibly be starting perio-menopause?

Did someone say something to you a few days ago, that you let pass at the time, but it's really stuck with you?

I'm always very emotional right before Christmas, I always have been.

:grouphug: thanks again everyone :grouphug:

ps
teary eyed today a a comercial for camera or film or something... :guilty:

Okay lets see.....I agree with the holdiay season thing, possibly SAD (seasonal affective disorder)....How long ago did you have your last child? Could possibly be latent postpartum, or the humdinger....premenopause! Yes I said it at 32 you could be the culprit of premenopause. I wanted to slug my OB/GYN when he told me this at the last visit. This happens to women in their 30s according to him. I love him and trust him completely, but right now he is not one of my favorite people. You stated you don't work, maybe for a change of pace you should get a PT job. Possibly a change would help you get out of your humdrums! Good Luck :grouphug:

You said you aren't on any meds but does that mean you aren't on anything? I never thought of things like clairitin or zyrtec as "meds" but while I was on them I felt really down. Anytime I take them now I'm not myself. It also happens with Afrin nose spray and decongestants.
Maybe you've taken something like that recently....

A long shot but just throwing it out there. :grouphug:

Do you have any other symptoms? I felt the exact same way about 2 years ago, I would cry at the drop of a hat, I thought I wa depressed, but I actually had mono. When my Dr. diagnosed me, I was actually relieved!

No, no meds at all.. nothing for allergies or even tylenol lately

No, no other symptoms that I know of

I do have a Dr's appointment after the New Year.. I'll let you know what she says

So far I didn't cry or get teary at all today.. Even heard a song that had be bawling my eyes out the other day..

:confused3

I think I have figured out what my problem was....My dr had given me Ambien to help me sleep back a year or so ago....With all of the hubbub of the holidays I was having trouble falling asleep so I took the pill for a few days....I think it was causing me to feel so low during the day....I stopped using them and feel pretty much back to normal.

:cheer2: Glad to hear it! :cheer2: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Are you 100% certain you're not pregnant? I was told that due to polycystic ovary syndrome my cahnces of concieving naturally were about 10%. So when I started feeling very tearful for no apparent reason, I couldn't work out what was wrong - I had my time of the month just two weeks before - but low and behold, I WAS pregnant! My DD was 5 in September BTW!!!!!

Just a suggestion that's fairly easily ruled out..................... :)

Ok I have been teary eyed and crying all throughout the day today as well as tears at the drop of a hat for no reason at all for the past 2 weeks.. I have NO clue why.. :confused3 Is there anyone else out there with roller coaster emotions for no reason?? I normally never cry especially like this. I will try and narrow it down a little so to maybe get a better explantion for this.

I'm not pregnant
It's not THAT time of the month
I do not work
I'm really not under any stress
We have a cruise coming up in January that I'm really looking forward to
Hubby and I are not having any problems

I just don't get it.... :guilty:
I hope you have been feeling better and better as the days go by! :wizard:

I get that way sometimes - hits me like a wall of depression - then within 12 to 24 hours I get a migraine. Have come to recognize it as the pre-syndrome for me. Once in a while the pain does not always follow the first phase.

Also, when you have the Drs. appt - you might ask them to check your thyroid!

Hope it passes soon!

Is this around an anivesrary date of something sad or trumatic for you? The body often remembers things the conisous mind doesn't.

32 years old. Are you thinking about having kids? Is stress of this on your mind (it can be the age for it.)

What is the weather around your area? How were family interactions for the holidays? Have you been wachting the news? Is any event particually upsetting for you?

Have you ever had any bouts of depression in the past?

2 weeks is not long enough to dx clinical depression.

Enjoy your vacation. I hope that helps. I know if I don't get out of Michigan every winter I just go nuts. It is part of my life goals, go someplace sunny at least once every winter (if not more.) :sunny:

I agree, at least get the thyroid checked out. :goodvibes
