Anyone know why they have the big shuttered window from the master into the part of the bathroom with the whirlpool? We've always wondered.

So you can watch TV from the jacuzzi.

I have to admit I've always thought that was a little weird myself. But never thought about the TV. I just thought it would carry to many sounds either direction and cold air after getting out of your hot bath.

At BLT, rumor is, it's so you can enjoy your MK view from the tub if you want.
Don't know if that's true, if it works or if I'd want to be in the tub with windows wide open...

have definitely watched the TV from it.

'that is what I don't like about BLT - you can only watch the fireworks - not the TV. so for most of the views w/o MK - you can see the bed....

And if you put your kids in the tub, you can watch them from your bedroom.

Or if someone decides to add some shower gel to the water, there is a place for all the suds to go - into the bedroom and out the patio door. ;)

Or...

if you get in the tub, your kids can videotape you from your bedroom with their iPhones! :scared1:

For some reason, most timeshares as well as seedy hotels in the Poconos *and* Niagra Falls areas all share this "design feature."

If you are resting in the Master bedroom and you have a guest traveling with you, the guest can still use the tub without YOU seeing THEM :-). And, with the option to open the panels, you can still see the kids if they use the tub.

I will confirm that if you are in the right room at Bay Lake Tower, you can see the Magic Kingdom from the tub in a grand villa. ;)

I stayed in a grand villa last September and enjoyed the view from the tub with the shutters wide open. Sorry, I cannot remember the room number, but it was on the 12 floor in the middle of the building.

Robert

:cool1: Ohhhh so that was you? I wanted to meet that guy! Robert I tried to wave at you to get your attention, but you were enjoying the view. Of course mine (view) wasn't that bad either (bow chicka bow wow)......

I was just, ah, just going to mention that you can see right into the BLT rooms at night from the monorail. Often wondered if people staying there realized they were part of the view. :flower3:

my daughter likes toplay little mermaid inthe tub and she comes up to the window to "surface"

:) My niece used to make me play Ursala in the pool....Ursala, chubby with short white hair, and a black dress.....me, just a chubby with blonde, very short, soon to be completely white hair, and a black swimsuit. I was perfect....she was a precious Ariel too, and I can remember the hours she spent playing like her in the swimming pool. She is 17 now....time goes so fast.

And if your view is facing the other rooms from the courtyard you can see in there too!!!:rolleyes1

The sliding doors at the jacuzzi slide too easily, not much privacy when you have little ones trying to slide the door.:scared1:

So turn the lights off in the bathroom and just have little fake candles (no real ones, please). Or just watch the TV and fireworks in the dark.
