Whose going in 2013

we went last month and had a great time! We are hoping to squeeze in quick trip in Oct for MNSSHP and then 1st week of Dec 2013 as we have never been at Christmas time.

Trust me, You'll LOVE it! We went 2nd-3rd week of december and it was perfect. The temperature was a nice ~75 the whole time (Now, as I live in northern PA, that nice) and there wasn't a major wait time for anything. If your going to the MVMCP, then fine a good spot early for the fireworks, as it does get crowded for that. I'm going back in Dec 2013 too and really can't wait.

We are having the same concerns, and I am stressing way too early about it too!

I did look up historical dates for Pop Warner, and in 2002 the calendar was exactly the same as in 2013 for November/December. Thanksgiving was on the 28th, and Pop Warner in 2002 was Dec 8-14. SO...my plan/hope is to go the week between Thanksgiving & Pop Warner - Nov 30 - Dec 7.

BUT...that being said I did read on **************.net that they are anticipating Pop Warner to be that first week of December (but it says "always first week of December" which, according to my research isn't accurate really). I am not sure if they are just guessing or have true knowledge of this...as I have tried everything I could think of and can't find the actual dates this far in advance anywhere. My best guess was to look at the historical dates.

SO, with a wish and a prayer and hopefully some pixie dust we are PLANNING right now on being there the first week of December - but being flexible if need be and may change once the Pop Warner dates are released (not because of crowds really because we've been there during PW before, but because we are staying onsite this time and would LIKE our best chance at a possible free dining or discount, which wouldn't happen PW week).

Yea... Pop Warner ca either make my vacation the best out there, or not make it happen... I don't have a big budget, and the only week i'll have open is the 16-22. And I will need to be back home before Christmas. I just hope it doesn't fall on that week, I'll need the discounts.

What I hope will happen is either a public free dining plan, or an AP holder discount. If there's an AP discount, I'll go no mater what. I'm planning to go Spring Break '14, so that Will save me cash on top of the discount...

We will be taking our oldest son in 2013 to celebrate his high school graduation. I'm not exactly sure when we will be going, but I'm sure I will change my mind eleventybillion times before it's finalized.

Was hoping DH would agree, and he's most of the way there to agreeing that we can go in 2012, earlier than I originally thought. Just wondering if I will be disappointed that all of the new Fantasyland won't be open until 2013. Nothing finalized yet, so time will tell.

We just got back and I'm already planning the next trip!

My hubby and our two boys want to wait until May 2014 to return, but I adore Disney and so do our two daughters so I'm now planning a girls only trip for 2013.

Looking at either one of the 1st two weeks of January during our oldest daughter's winter break from college...or one of the 1st two weeks in June during her summer break.

I definitely want to fly down. We live in Virginia and 14 straight hours of driving is right up my husband's alley...I'm not about to try it!

Have narrowed it down to two on-site resorts: the Caribbean Beach & the Beach / Yacht Clubs. We've never stayed on Disney property before. This will be a first!

Will have a better idea of when we're going and where we're staying when the 2013 packages and prices come out this summer.

We have our April cruise on DCL booked - now we are in the process of decided which dates to stay at WDW!

and to make it even better we were going in June but have decided to move our trip up to the April (which is our favorite time). Entering those new dates into my disney countdown on my dashboard made me so excited... 380 days to go

I am planning a big group trip with friends for October 2013. Probably looking at 20-30 people! I can't wait!!

We originally were going to wait until 2014 for our daughter's first trip to the World, but I've about convinced him that we should go next year!!

We would go in October for our daughter's birthday - she'll be turning five next year!

Last time we went was Sept 2011...not too long ago...but I said we would start going every 2 years. DD actually said this because she doesn't want to miss school, so we may have to as well switch our favorite month of Sept to Feb. This way she is on vacation. I thought about April, but it seems to cost more than Feb...

We are heading down to WDW in October, 2013! We'll have 2 days in WDW then head to the DCL cruise port and get on the new Disney Fantasy! Our niece is getting married on Castaway Cay during our 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise! Oh, and I would like to stay at the Lion King section of the new Art of Animation resort too!

We haven't been down to WDW since October of 2009......what a long time ago that was. Hoping the MNSSHP will fall on Thursday, October 17th for us to party with the mouse!!

Cool! We LOVE POFQ! It's an awesome resort! But with my love of the Lion King, we just have to try out the new resort!

We love POFQ - the atmosphere and size are great, and the walk to POR is nice along the river, as is the boat to Downtown Disney. Happy Planning!!
