We crazily  (well, not really, for us Disney lovers:love: ) booked a trip yesterday for March 8 till 14.

We are super syked!!!!!:cool1: :yay:

And we are going to the Pirate and Princess party on Tuesday night.pirate: princess:

I have never been during March Break. What can I expect? And what do I pack for clothes?:worship:

My girls can wear one of thier Princess dresses if they want. I don't have a costume and don't have a clue about putting one together. And I don't think I could convince the tween and teen to wear one.

We'll be at the PPP on Tuesday evening also.
I'll be wearing my pirate shirt from the Disney Cruise last fall.

My DD, DS & I will be in the world March 5 - March 14th

Our P&PP is March 6th pirate:

iluvwesties (aka Carol)

We arrive on the 9th and will be going to the Pirates and Princess Party too. We all have pirate costumes too. :)

I don't want to be a downer....but.....we went to Disney 2 years ago during March Break and we vowed we would never, ever go back during that time. The lines were ridiculous - 2 hour wait for popular rides like Small World, Haunted Mansion, etc. Even the roads around DW were insane. It took us forever to get anywhere.

I hope that this year is much, much better for all of you.

You will LOVE the PPP. We went in January and had a fabulous time. We walked on all the rides and the kids loved collecting treasure.

Enjoy your trip!

I will be an upper! We went March break 2003/2006. Had no problems with crowds except at the two airports! You need to have a plan for touring the parks. Disney knows how to handle crowds. If an attraction had a line that was too long we skipped it. Go and have fun. We are going again this March Break.

:thumbsup2

We'll be there March 4-12 and can't wait. We went last year at this time and the crowds were manageble. I expect the crowds to get busier closer to the end of our trip. Here we come WDW and the sun and goodbye snow and boots.:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I'm going on a trip.... but not Disney this time!! Goodbye snow and boots and hello sunshine and beaches!!
16 more sleeps till 2 nights in San Juan and 7 day cruise with a port every day!! :cool1:

Would like to be at Disney but after last 3 trips last year i'm a bit Disney'd out I think!

We have gone on March Break for the last three years as it is the only time I can go (I teach), and I haven't found it bad at all. It is busy, but we get there early and hit what is important. From there, we slow down a bit and see what we can see. I find lines like SMall World and Haunted Mansion move fairly quickly. We picked up fast passes while watching the parade (for Jungle Cruise) and then quickly went onto that ride after the parade. We did that for a few other fast pass rides as well. It really wasn't that bad ... remaining calm is very important :)

This year might be a bit busier, but again, we will just play it by ear ;)

We are going to the Magic Kingdom on March 7 and then we are heading off to the Disney Magic, can't wait. We might do Epcot the day we get off the ship on March 15, but I am sure it will be much busier.

9th to 16th here.

We've been kinda spoiled on our last two trips to go during a slower season (end of Aug and mid November), so I hope it's not crazy crazy busy.

We will be there the 7th-14th. This is only my second time going. The last time was in 2000. I can't wait.

We will be at Universal the 7th and 8th and then Port Oleans French Quarter from the 9th - 16th. The parks will be busy but we were there from Dec 29th until Jan 04th and it was crazy so this has to be better! We are driving as well and are all looking forward to some sunshine and warmth. Actually we were there at March break 2 years ago and the parks were busy on the late evening openings for Hotel guests. The only time they have opened up the area behind the stores to let guests out that I've ever been there for. But we just starting managing our time better and it worked out fine!

Hey Eeyoreloverforever,

We have friends that just booked two weeks ago! We are not going this time as we already have April booked. We did thinnk about it VERY hard! lol

I think the crowds will be insane! I remember going once and the lines were at least 45mins for every ride. Actually, when we were thinking about it, it remained on of the items in the 'cons' column lol.

But hey, you're in Disney World. Wishing a fellow Bluenoser a great time!

We'll be there March 8-15 and at the P &P Party on the Tuesday. Have a great time everyone!

March 4-14, me and ds 13 by ourselves. We usually go in May to beat the crowds, but school is getting more intense and he doesn't want to have too much to catch up on when he gets back. He will miss 3 days of school, and is responsible for collecting the catch up work from classmates as teacher doesn't do that. This is our first time at March break, I swore I would never do it, but given a choice of Disney at March break, or no Disney at all? No brainer.:thumbsup2
