Who's your favourite airline to get to DLR?

We love West Jet, but trying to catch their sales is a pain the neck sometimes!

We live in Canada, so some, like Southwest, don't even fly from here, but I was wondering what your favourites are

Well flying from Canada to LAX west jet was my favorite. United was good too and my least favorite was air canada. Now that I'm in the UK I'll be flying British Airways and I've heard nothing but good things so I can't wait.

LOVE Southwest and LOVE Frontier. Now that we're in CO instead of CA, we have a Phoenix layover with Southwest, but on the other hand it gives us a chance to get out and stretch legs, grab something to eat, AND Phoenix has a Starbucks - a large bonus for me!

Still a bit pricey (high 300s/low 400s), but Frontier seems to be the best bet to fly with 1 stop to SNA. The problem is, the stop is changing planes in Denver and the connection is about 20-25 minutes. Not to sure I like that - cutting it way to close....last year we flew American, changing in Dallas.

I agree. And coming from Phoenix, that means Southwest in most cases. Sometimes I can find US Air cheaper into LGB.

Twenty five minutes should be fine for you connection, but don't delay. Go straight there . They close the door early on Fronter they don't like to take off late.

My favorite Disneyland airline is Air VW - it flies low and fast. ;-)

I have to aggree with Danger Mouse and ScooterL. Now that we are in Boise instead of San Diego, we go with the cheapest. Funny, it is cheaper for us to fly to Orlando than LAX or SNA. Although ExpressJet is now running to San Diego for $59 each way. Hey ScooterL, can I rent the VW?

Im from phoenix so we always fly US air the reason being that you can choose your seats because I hate hate hate having to wait forever to get off the airplane when you land so we always sit up front.

Another one for whatever's cheapest. I live in San Francisco, so sometimes I'll just drive, but flying and leaving behind the stress of a car and traffic is pretty nice sometimes. I'll be flying on Southwest for my October and December trips and I haven't planned my February trip yet, so I might end up driving for that one.

Doombuggy - we're in Denver so real familiar with DIA. If you're flying in and leaving Frontier each leg - no problems whatsoever. If you change airlines and one runs late, or we have weather complications here (a.m. and p.m. you could see that with ice), then yeah sometimes 20-25 minutes may not be good - especially if you have to change concourses and get from C or B concourse to A (that's also only non-Frontier leg connections.) If you're strictly Frontier - no sweat!

For me living in the Northwest, we always find the best and cheapest flights on Alaska airlines or Southwest.

We normally fly Southwest because it's the cheapest. If I book it right I can $39 each way from Sacramento or Oakland to SNA. I did notice that Virgin America has the same deal from SFO-LAX, but I don't know long that will last since they just started flying out of SFO.

Alaska has the only direct from boise, and the best times.
We usually fly Delta because they are where all of our points are.

We fly alaska because they are the only ones from Portland that go non-stop to SNA and I usually get decent rates, I will pay a little more not to have to stop somewhere else.

Our airport in N CA only has one airline, so that's what we fly--United. On the upside, it's such a small airport that you can drive up, park free, walk a few yards to the terminal and find yourself ready to go through security with all 20 other people on the (only) flight. We do have to go through SF no matter where we're going, but we've already been through our simple security plus we get another 500 frequent flyer miles. We also get to hop in our car and drive the 10 minutes home when we return instead of driving 2+ hours from the next closest airport. If you watch, you can usually get a pretty good rate if your dates are somewhat flexible.

We've been flying Express Jet into Ontario from Boise. We are heading back to Disneyland in two and a half weeks! Can't beat the airfare for under $170 round trip.
