I think the characters are way underrated at Universal. People don't realize all the meet and greet opportunities. My personal favorites are Donkey and the Grinch. We did the Grinch breakfast and he was a riot...so totally into the character (the Whos were fun too). And I love Donkey because he talks...and talks...and talks. It's just like the movie.

Donkey is my fav and I was really impressed with Spiderman as well. All the character's we encounted really took a moment to enteract with my family. They didnt just pose and move on they listened if the kids wanted to say something to them and replied or reacted (if they didnt talk). At Disney last year we left like it was a pose sign and move on to the next person. No personal attention at all.

I agree!!!! Donkey was so funny. Spiderman was great with the kids

Spiderman was the best with my kids.

For me it's a tie between The Grinch (he was wonderfully Grinchy) and The Cat In The Hat (he purred in my ear for a good minute and a half while the DH figured out how to work the camera).

Imhotep, Doc Brown, Doctor Doom, and the Green Goblin are among my faves.

The first three were fun because when I worked at their respective attractions, I could have full/themed conversations with them. It really made a more believable "show effect" for those passing by. :3dglasses

Green Goblin was fun because he would mess with people & could get away with it, since he's a bad guy.

Oh I don't thnk I've ever seen Imhotep out and about...will need to keep an eye out!

yeah. Where do you see ihmotep? That would be cool..
I don't know about Ihmotep but watch out for those freakin' stilt walkers around Mummy. One of them snuck up behind me and nearly made me wet my pants one day. You know how some people have a fear or clowns or puppets or whatever. For me it's stiltwalkers and yet they always seem to seek me out (we won't even speak of Halloween Horror Nights).

Spiderman...because he's Spiderman. ;) Actually I always like to see all of the superheroes when they come out. They are all fun to see except Wolverine because his costume is so lame.

The last time we were there,Shreck Fiona and Donkey was standing alone waiting for the crowds to get out.I walked up to Fiona and said drop the green one and lets get abeer at Finnegan's.Donkey came unglued.Way funny:lmao:

The grinch is great but for me it's Doc Brown and Marty Mcfly.

About 3 years ago, I was having lunch with my GF somewhere close to T2-3D, when I saw Doc Brown and Marty Mcfly walk past our window. I got up, ran out of the cafe', and yelled out: "DOC, I HAVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE FUTURE!" They both turned around and came over to me. For the next 5 minutes or so we were all talking and started quoting Back to the Future the movie, all the while people were just staring and taking pictures. It was geeky but it was great! :cool2:
