Who's the most evil?

So watching CourtTV (or whatever it's called now), they have a show where they rate how "evil" different killers are.

So who do you think are some of the most evil people alive today?

Osama Bin Laden, Kim Jong II, and my father-in-law.

Interesting question.There are so many varieties of pure evil that I'm can't pick just one (or even a few) as most evil. So many cases haunt me. I think I'd lump those that prey on children and those that are helpless, into one category, and have a lot of subsets. The title would have to be shared. Man's inhumanity towards man.

cult leaders are up there as well. Anyone who purposely sets out to mislead people in the name of God is evil IMHO.

I'd say Fred Phelps and Osama Bin Laden both fall under that category.

And I agree with anyone who hurts children being evil. If those bones end up being Caylee Anthony's, I hope Casey gets life in gen. pop.

I would agree with those as well. Phelps is disgusting ans done more to turn people from God than to God.

Today? Eesh... I think evil, like beauty, is all about opinion versus objectivity. Like, I think Osama Bin Laden is one of the most evil people in the world. But to some in the world he is a great liberator. So, I think there are going to be arguments about the here and now until we are further removed. Also, there could be some truly twisted people out there operating, RIGHT NOW, but we won't know it until full disclosure once they are caught or make a mistake that leads to disclosure of their activities.

What intrigues me the most about Hitler, is the amount of self loathing he must have had. He was part Jewish, Austrian, dark coloring, etc. In fact that was one of the reasons he would not marry or have children with Eva Braun, he even enacted laws that prevented HIMSELF from marrying an Aryan woman like Braun (the Nurrenberg Laws). He didn't want to create any more like himself, since he was not the model to base the "master race" on. Totally messed up.

I agree with this. We think Bin Laden is evil because he orchestrated attacks on America. He thinks we are evil because of attacks made on the people of the Middle East.

I always thought this too, although I've been told it's an urban legend. I know he did have a lot of self-hatred though, and hated a LOT of people of all types.
