Who's the most evil?

I agree with this. We think Bin Laden is evil because he orchestrated attacks on America. He thinks we are evil because of attacks made on the people of the Middle East.




I always thought this too, although I've been told it's an urban legend. I know he did have a lot of self-hatred though, and hated a LOT of people of all types.

There are two groups of thought on this. The "urban legend" group, and those that support it. Either way Hitler wasn't German, but Austrian, by birth. So even there he was "lesser" in his own eyes. Scary **** in my opinion the amount of loathing he had for everything but his ideal, and the amount of destruction it caused. Truly he was INSANE, and a homicidal mad man. Even trying to make any sense of it in my mind, with just a few years of psychology is difficult. I just wish that the Allied forces had been able to get to that bunker so he could have stood trial for his crimes, not taken the easy way out.

There are a lot of messed up people in the world, but I differentiate those who have misguided causes and/or abuse of power, with those who take true pleasure in inflicting pain on other people. Manson and his followers define evil in my mind.

Have you seen The Strangers? It's very loosely based on the Manson killings. But, i studied them for my sociology course in college, group dynamics leading those who were once very innocent to commit acts of pure evil. It actually was a hybrid paper paralleling Manson with Hitler, albeit on a smaller scale.

So watching CourtTV (or whatever it's called now), they have a show where they rate how "evil" different killers are.

So who do you think are some of the most evil people alive today?

It seems to me that it would be more productive to concentrate on who are the better people in the world and how we can follow their lead. I see nothing worth while in concentrating on evil.

And that's a good point too!

In my opinion, good and evil define each other. Bringing one to the forefront helps better showcase the other as well. That being said, it's time for a 2nd thread!

I actually seen this show a few times. I would def say anyone that would prey on children would be high on my list. Charles Manson without a doubt.
