I am. We have a wedding to go to in Jan. So the airline tickets are going to be the Big Christmas Gift for our family. Have most of the other sm gifts bought. So no need for me to get out of my nice bed this year:goodvibes

You couldn't pay me enough to go shopping on Black Friday!

I AM AND ALWAYS DO!!!!! :rotfl:

After working mall retail for 9 Black Fridays, I wouldn't go out if you paid me!

I am Canadian. So, I have to skip it (as I don't have the day off) Nor do we have any Black Friday sales. But, if I did have the opportunity...judging from the news coverage I have seen, I would skip it. Just too busy for my liking.

You could not pay me any amount of money to go out and fight the Black Friday sales. Don't need to purchase anything that badly.

I never shop on Black Friday. Well, I take that back--I did go out one year. Best Buys had a big sale on DVD players. It was crazy! I thought they were going to have to break out the riot gear! We got our DVD player after standing outside in the dark & cold for about 45 min. NEVER AGAIN.

Actually, most of my shopping is done. I still need to get a couple things for DH--his birthday is Jan 8, so if I don't shop now I won't get the chance later. But the kids are done, as are my siblings and my mother. I don't know what DH is planning for the inlaws. His family, his problem.

Wow, have any of you heard of this thing called the internet? **kidding** Lots of Black Friday deals are online only ya know :P

I haven't done Black Friday in years. But I do Cyber Monday's! Great online deals!

I am. I just spent several hundred dollars online today with all the sales. No reason to get up early and face the mobs. Besides I'm working tomorrow.

I am... have to work tomorrow. Although if I REALLY wanted to, I could go for a bit since several stores open at 4am and I don't have to be at work until 7am. But... nahhhhhh. I'd rather get the extra sleep. :thumbsup2

I am not shopping this year at all. I going to New York June 2010 and saving for that trip.

I won't be out there either.. I finished almost all of my shopping online today (came in way under budget with the BF sales available on the internet:thumbsup2) and have one more order waiting to "click" when the new, lower sales prices come out within 24 hours.. Everything I bought had free shipping, so I'm very, very pleased to basically be "done"..

Now I'm bouncing around making a list of what I want for myself - per my DD and her DH's request.. Basically just books (preferably used - although I may have to fight them on that - LOL) and "maybe" a new pair of slippers..:goodvibes

Good luck to those going out to brave the crowds..:goodvibes

I will be staying as I just returned from Michael's and I got what I wanted!

I never have money on Black Friday and this year is no exception!

DH gets paid on Monday and I get paid Wednesday -- just in time for all the good deals to be over.

There will be plenty more - and some of them will be even better - so don't worry about it.. You're not going to "miss out".. (Well - except for the madness - if you enjoy that type of shopping..) Just make your list and get ready to pounce when the next round of awesome deals hit..:thumbsup2

I don't know.

We are going to Men's Warehouse tomorrow for a few suits for DH but I don't know if that counts as a BF frenzy.

I am going to go to Babies R Us either tomorrow or Satruday for the $25 temporal thermometer.

I *MIGHT* stop at Walmart at some point and *see* if they have any of the $139 Kitchen aid mixers. I want one but don't know that I want THAT one. They a few others things I'd like ... $7 snow boots for DS, PJ's and a $7 puffer jacket for me to wear this winter with my ever growing pregnant belly! If I don't go that's fine too ... no biggie.

If we had extra money I might be tempted to go, but I'm sleeping in instead. Honestly, there's not too much really worth it to me, aside from cheap PJ's :lmao:. I bought kids games at TRU with rebates that are better than any BF sales, and with online competition I'm waiting to see how low some prices go...or how stores will price match :thumbsup2. Besides, Christmas tree farms open tomorrow!
