Who's skipping Black Friday!!

I haven't gone shopping on Black Friday for as long as I can remember and I don't plan on going tomorrow either. I just check some online specials tomorrow whenever I decide to roll out of bed.

Workin tomorrow. Thought about getting up early, but decided to give a friend $100 for as much as she could get at the coach outlet

I never do Black Friday but I LOVE the day after Christmas shopping. I will go out for my fountain diet coke and then will spend the morning/afternoon decorating before a party tomorrow night. I might venture to Chevy's for chips and salsa to take with.

My sister is already waiting outside our local Best Buy. Doors open at 5am but they start handing out tickets/coupons at 3am. I will be in bed waiting for the online sales. Plus QVC has a Black Friday thing going on that started this evening. I know she will be catching some good sales, but I know if I was there, all I'd be catching is a court charge for throwing someone into the mall fountain. I just dont have that kind of patience!

I would rather have my fingernails pulled out one at a time than to go shopping on blackFriday. I remember the shopper trampled to detah at that long island Walmart last year...nothing i need to buy that badly that I would risk being out an about with those animals.

Not me! I've never done it, and don't plan to. I shop leisurely - a little at a time. I can't imagine ever fighting crowds like that or waiting in line for hours in the wee hours of the morning the day after Thanksgiving. I'll still be warm and cozy in bed with my husband

Absolutely not. It is pure craziness and there are alot of people who are very nice but then there are always those who ruin it by being obnoxious.

I am. I usually go and LOVE IT!!

But, this year I have a 6 month old who is nursing...and refuses to take a bottle. So I can't go out for very long, and I'm sure as heck not taking her into the crowds. Can't imagine trying to maneuver my stroller around in that mess. I'm sad to miss it this year, but she's worth it!!

I've shopped Black Friday exactly twice in my lifetime and even then only one store.

I couldn't save enough money by shopping Friday to make up for the aggravation. There's no way we go shopping on Black Friday.

On Wednesday, the cashier at Target told me that every single employee had to work on Friday. I told him that we'd be skipping it and he told me, "You are totally my favorite customer. Thank you."

I used to go Black Friday shopping every year. Last year was the 1st year I skipped. I'm skipping today, too. The only shopping I will do today is grocery shopping and I'm going to run over to Walgreens for some LED lights they have on sale.

I'm going to do some Christmas shopping at the mall and at Target tomorrow. Everything will still be on sale then. I hope to find out what time Target opens tomorrow and I'll be there at opening. It'll be busy, but less crazy than today.

I usually go out later in the day. I contemplated going out this morning for one of the TV deals but we got one online so I don't need to go out. I am sort of "done" shopping as I know what I am getting most everyone and none of it is on Black Friday sales. I am going to run over to the golf store to see if they have any good deals because DS14 is getting new golf clubs for Christmas. It is a small, local shop so no ads in the paper. I need to get stocking stuffer stuff so if I find things on sale for those I will buy some but my Step-mom and I have started a tradition that I wait for her and we do that on Christmas Eve Day. They are coming up this weekend unexpectedly for a funeral so maybe we will have time to shop now instead of later.

I went to Black Friday once many years ago with my DMIL & DsisIL and vowed "never again". There is NOTHING that I need that badly and if I do need it that badly, I am willing to pay full price for it.

I have a part-time job in retail so I have to work this afternoon. I am so not looking forward to it. I went into the store the other day with a friend who had never been there before and if that was any indication of what it's going to be like today...OMG.

Well I had to go out after all.... My comp. mouse broke and went to Staples around 12p and there was hardly anyone in there. Got the mouse for $14.99 reg $39.00 so life is good.

Slept through it. Stayed up until after 3 am playing Forza 3 and slept until 12:30 pm. We went to Best Buy at 4:30 pm and still found lots of great deals on XBox games and DVDs.
