Who's planning Jan 2007?

Inspired by another thread....

So who's going? I'm so excited about our trip. I've put down a deposit on accommodations. Haven't purchased tickets yet. Already have in mind where I want to make ADRs. I'm waiting on JetBlue to see what their airfare looks like before I book. Can't do much more at this point. I feel I like I need some more to do to pass the time! What's next!?!?

Anyone feeling the same excitement as I am? There must be something else I can plan!

So what have you done so far and what are your next steps?

We are! Jan 15-21 in the Grand Villa at OKW. Can't wait!

Thinking of either Jan or Feb. We went Feb this year and enjoyed it. What is the weather like in Jan? Also what are the crowds like in Jan vs. beginning of Feb? One more question do you know when the marathon is? I've heard it can cause a lot of congestion for that weekend so we want to avoid that.

We're planning for 2007 in addition to our 06 trip. We are taking dh's parents for their 40th wedding anniversary, along with his single brother and his other brother and his family. We are getting 3 BWV studios. I believe that we will be going the end of June once our kids are out of school. Since it is a milestone trip we plan to do many special things. I will also look into the magical gatherings stuff. Looking forward to being their with the whole family, there will be 11 of us.

I too have a deposit down. We are staying in a house we rented on our last family trip.
We will be there Jan 20-26.
I wish it was sooner.

We'll be there, we always go in January. Won't start making plans for another 4 - 6 months though. It doesn't take as long to plan things after you've been a few times.

Honestly, I don't know what Jan will be like. We went in Feb 2005. The weather was beautiful. I expect cooler weather and smaller crowds. We never needed to use Fastpass when we went. I don't expect to in Jan either. I checked and the marathon is slated for Jan 7.

We're going January 27th - February 3. We are splitting our stay between CSR and BWI. I just made the reservations yesterday .

We have gone at the end of January twice now. Both times we had days that were in as cool as 60 and as warm as 84. We really like this time of year, since that weather is going to be better than what we have at home (Northeast PA) and the crowds are really down.

Maybe we will see some of you there .

We go every year in January. Our trip this year is planned for Jan. 12th-21st

It's a great time of year to go, the only down side it the weather is very unpredictable. You basically need to pack for every season. The year before last, it was sunny and beautiful, upper 70's to low 80's every day. Last year though, it was FREEZING. We wore our winter jackets for much of the week.

The marathon brings some crowds, but they're really not that noticeable. Most of the runners are there just for the weekend, and are too busy preparing for and recovering from the race to spend much time in the parks. Some (like us!) do make a vacation out of it, but not enough to impact crowds that much. This year we're not able to participate because we don't have anyone to watch our daughter.

Enjoy your trip, we think January is a perfect time of year as long as you don't mind the uncertain weather!

Can't wait for Jan. 2007. We are going the last of Jan. into 1st of Feb. Waiting on in-laws to decide if they are going with us before we can book anything.

We will be there Jan 26-Feb 2! We just put our deposit down for a room at ASMo. We're so excited!

We love going in January! We are booked for January 18-29 '07 at Pop. Can't wait!!

DH & I are going on our DCL cruise 02/03/2007 BUT we want to go to WDW before the cruise for like 3 days. DS and DGF are also going to go to WDW with us BUT they are NOT doing the cruise. They will stay on at WDW when we head to the PORT.

We will be looking for some good air fares, preferably Jet Blue as I have a credit voucher with them that I would like to use.

We would all like to stay at BWI when we go as well. We have done NOTHING about the WDW part of the trip. We re-booked the cruise while on the Wonder in Feb 2006!!

Let's all keep each other informed if anyone hears of good air fares for Jan 2007!!!

Count me in! DH & I will be there Jan 19-27, and I can't wait to go back! I'm hoping for weather on the cool side - or warm side, either way works for me!

We're going Jan 20-28 and taking the inlaws. They've never been so we're pretty excited to show them the ropes. We're staying at ASMo. We've already reserved the room and are just waiting for 2007 rates to come out. We went last year in Oct. and it was still too hot for us. We're hoping for a little bit better weather in Jan. We'll see. Can't wait. I'm pretty much planning the entire trip alone so I am pretty sure where we're going to eat and what our plan is already. It seems like a long way away, but it will be here before we know it!
