...on the timing of the munster drill. Todd could ask concierge to help with time setting as they know when the munster drill will be.

Is it munster or muster? I always thought it was muster. :confused3

Just curious!

Hello we are not sure who to post to Ty to Todd and his family for offering to host a dis meet in there suite, and to Lisa for helping to orginize. meeting befor the cruise starts sound like a great idea sense will be spending the next seven evenings together. We are Mike Eileen ds Christopher (22) and ds Patrick (20) we have been taking wdw vacations sense befor both the boys were even 1. We will be staying at Port orleans french Quarter the evening befor the cruise and at the Polyneasion for a few days after we are enjoying reading the posts makes looking forward to the cruise all the more fun

To those who have done this before - a technical question with some background. We were able to start booking last night - (thanks for the pixie dust Todd, it helped all day :goodvibes) We were able to book the night we wanted for Palo, but the excursions we wanted weren't listed. Mark just logged on a few minutes ago and one of them appeared for the first time. We booked all four of us, even though we want DS, 15, to do the teen version. Now that we've booked, no excursions are shown on the list for Cozumel. We were hoping to cancel DS from ours and change him to the Fury Teen when it appeared, but I wonder since all of us are signed up for excursions - do they disappear from the port list of excursions? Did this make sense :confused3 ?

TIA

Lisa

Lisa,
I'm glad I read your post. I've been wanting to book the fury catamaran excursion since 90 days out and it was never listed. I just went and booked it. After I did, all of the Cozumel excursions disappeared. I'm not sure why. I don't know if you read my previous post, but my first excursion completely disappeared and DCL had no booking either even though I had a confirmation number. This is my first cruise booking excursions on line. I think I like the phone better!

Glad to know that what occurred on the site was normal. I'll call Disney this morning and ask about the teen catamaran. Also, you made me realize that I needed to write the confirmation numbers down in case of a problem.

LOL! I think it should be muster drill. I guess we'll also be doing the monster mash during the drill also if you go by my post. :rotfl2: Are you on this cruise, too?

Lisa - Yeah! You were able to book Palo. Hang in there. I bet you can book excursions when you get on the ship. Here's more PD for you. pixiedust: Don't they hold 50% of bookings to give other less computer savy an opportunity?

Thanks for the extra pixie dust. We were actually able to book our excursions - DS to the teen Castaway Cay; and the four of us to the Fury Catamaran. I want to change DS to the teen version if they offer it, but since we booked all four of us in Cozumel, no more Cozumel excursions are showing. I tried to call Disney this morning but had no idea today was the day to book Med. cruise, so obviously hung up rather than wait an hour and a half  for an operator. I'll just try again tomorrow.

what is the furry catamaran excursion and what port is is in are there any other excursion that others would recomend

Hi all. I don't know if anyone was interested in this for their teen, but I called Disney today to ask about this excursion and the agent told me it was no longer available. She didn't know if it was going to be offered in the future.

On a happy note though, we are signed up for everything else we wanted so party on... party:

Catamaran - Isn't this a sailing activity with a beach party? Lisa - is that right? My passporter is at home and I'm out of town.

Sunny37 - Great! :goodvibes Will you be able to join the DISmeet or you don't quite know yet? Who's all in your party?

It's just the three of us - Me, DH and DS 10.

Lisa - Alrighty! :cool1: Did they just discontinue the teen catamaran because of lack of participation? I would think teens would want to do something without Mom and Dad on their heels.

Bonnie - yes, the Fury is a catamaran (big sailboat with lots of room for sunning :sunny: ) that stops at a few places for playing and snorkeling. It ends up at a beach when burgers, a salad bar (I think) and beer, margaritas and soft drinks are served. I think they may have discontinued the teen one because of timing (just a guess). It arrived back after the early dinner seating for the Pirate dinner. We booked all of us on the trip; me, dh, ds15 and ds8. Judy's family (on this thread) is going too. It sounds like alot of fun.

It is in Cozumel and it definately should be back in time for early dining. I believe it's from 9am to about 2pm and includes lunch and drinks. You can go to the Disney Cruise Line official site and sign in to register. You can also do it by phone. It's easy to do it on-line and everyone who has a confirmation number can register - it includes all your official documents, excursions, Palo (although there's no more on-line ressies left), kids clubs, etc.
