Who's Interested in a DIS/GKTW Team for 2010 Marathon Weekend?

I have turned into a nag trying to get the info from Disney. As soon as I know anything I will share it here.

I missed this because I was out of town this weekend. Thanks for nagging Disney for us Kathy.

I would like to join in. I will be doing the 5K and possibly the 1/2. I haven't registered yet as I am waiting to see if I will definitly be able to do the 1/2.

Hi all! I'm in for the 1/2! I've been out of town for 2 weeks (snuck in a short trip to DL!) during which my husband agreed that this is a need-to-do for me! I haven't run a race since 2002, but did well then in 2 separate 10k's!

I haven't registered yet; I'm gathering that I should wait??? Until the group is official with Disney? Let me know.....

hi everybody...I'm new to the podcast boards....not the Disboards though. I heard through the Dis grapevine that there was a possible team for GKTW organizing for the half marathon in January.

I'm not sure how it's being organized but if there is room for one more (possibly two if I can get my husband in on it) I would love to participate!

There's definitely room for one (or more than one) more. Kathy's still working out final details with Disney - they've been very slow in getting back to her. But she's working very hard on it for our behalf.

I'm getting very tempted to "go Goofy" for this one. That way I can run with everyone.
