Thank you. I agree. The first logo is nice online but the watermark will most likely not translate well to a shirt. I just did it as an option to keep in a bit more narrow. If that image is shrunk down to be the size of a board signature it will be more size-friendly width wise than the second.

I really like the name Kids Unplugged. And I LOVE the logos presented so far...

But I am concerned about something. We are using the word "unplugged" which means one thing on this thread...but has implications for some families that are quite different. Some families that are supporters of GKTW have had to or will have to, in one way or another, unplug their children from life support or other life supporting medications, etc.

I don't think we should use that term.

I wish I could offer another name. But I am going to have to think on it some...

I almost wish we could incorporate the DISboards as a whole in the name. I know it is an unplugged event...but I wish we could tie the whole board in. And maybe even tie in the W.I.S.H part of the boards. Maybe it is too much.

Will we be able to use a lime green shirt?

maybe www.disboards.com supports GKTW? Because then we will "point" people to check out the DISboards and recruit some more people that are not aware that this wonderful Disney planning tool is out there.

Maroo, I am so glad that you brought up this point. I never would have thought of "unplugged" in the context you mentioned, and I would never in any way want to offend any of these families of GKTW or to make anyone feel badly. I agree that we should try to think of another name or use another word that is less emotionally charged for people.

When I first heard it I reacted, then had one of those times when I thought maybe I was over-reacting, being oversensitive and the like. I know no one here would ever want to offend anyone, and you just never know. this is a wonderful opportunity to support a tremendous cause, and we want everything to be positive!

Will be interested in more details, but I know I'll have to do some pretty fancy dancing to get enough support for Mark here to allow me to get away. I wish we could find someone like you for our Mark, Mary!

It did not occur to me at first. But I excitedly told Lauren it hit me like a ton of bricks. Of course Lauren, the eternal optimist, said it sounded more like kids going wild than anything bad.

I anxiously await the room arr. And trying to come up with ideas to raise money!

Hi all,

I came up with the name and my thoughts were of kids going crazy (fun times), and never gave the other any thought and am glad someone brought that up. Like I told my DW, we're Disney fans, we don't hurt anyone on purpose, just by accident

First, great work on the logos, and of course we would need permission (I assume there are copyright laws).

Second, how about "GKidsTW / In Focus": by DISunplugged.

I really like how the logo is coming alive and would like to see it stay.
