UGH...we are waffling about going in May. We would really need either a room discount or FD. If our dates are 12 - 20 what are our chances???

In all of our years of going to Disney in May, they've only offered free dining once and that was a couple of years ago. Having said that, we have been able to take advantage of % off special offer for our rooms in May.

Me too, planning a split stay at POFQ & BW for May 18 thru June 1. I usually manage a pretty good savings with AP holders rates. I've been working and reworking my dinning plan, and I plan to use TiW paying oop. This will be a trip for DH and myself with a follow-up visit for girls only with my DD the following Oct. I love the planning process .

I cannot even believe I'm posting this - but May 3-6 is a possibility for me! I haven't even gone on my Nov/Dec trip yet of this year!!
My goal though, is to do the Expedition Everest Challenge. I'm super excited about it! Regardless, hoping for a good May deal since I can't commit to renting points this early...

I am considering going in May. I have always gone in Sept with FD and noticed when I priced it out that May is more expensive not only with Disney but with flights as well. And if I have to pay for food, it might not be doable.

I will be waiting until the May discounts come out to make my decision. I guess I could always get a AAA discount (since I have BCAA). I always stay value so room discounts aren't as good for me as FD would be (and I will probably be travelling solo).

I have 4 offers saved right now for different dates and lengths of time in late April to mid May. And I will probably order a vacation dvd when I am back from my Sept trip.

Hoping that will be enough for a pin code(which I have never gotten)......I guess time will tell.

Yea, unfortunatly it is my transmition, but we are looking for one that will not break the bank and I know someone who will do the work for me. I am going to have to use my emergency credit card, but I am hoping that doing a garage sale and putting some things on ebay will help me pay down both the card and my vacation. (sorry that was a bit of a run on sentance.)

Hello all of you fellow May Disers! I went back and looked at the historic special offers dates for prior May travel dates.

For May, 2012 travel dates, we had to wait until November, 2011 for the special offer and then there were other offers again in January and February, 2012.

For May, 2011 travel dates, special offers were released in August, 2010 (free dining and the only time I have seen free dining for any time in May), and then % off for Visa holders, annual passholders and the general public in December, January, March, April and May.

I've heard that there's a 2013 military discount that's coming out soon (some have already been able to book). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Disney decides to give us May travelers a discount soon!

Especially with a deluxe booked, I need a discount, pin or FD!! Come on Disney hahaha! Don't they know we are MAJOR Disney fans and they should give us the best codes possible
