Who's in for GREECE and TURKEY, June 15 2003????

I know what you mean about the number of days. We finally made it to platimum last fall after starting our sailing on DCL in 1999. We are at just under 60 days for 10 cruises. We have taken three less than 7 days because that is all that was being offered. This is our first cruise at platimum and I am sure there will be quite a few on this trip. Sue

I also feel your pain. This is our first cruise as gold, but have 5 cruises totaling 47 nights. As a family, we have decided we will never reach platinum, the variety of itineraries is just not there. But we will take the unique ones, after all how many times can a person go to Castaway?

Hello all! We are going. It will be DW, DS(12), DD(9) and myself. We have done 4 Disney Cruises and this is our first Disney Mediterranean Cruise. I notice they do not have the shore excursions posted yet for the Greece and Turkey stops. Anyone know why? We have already been looking at what we want to do, since we can book 90 days out being silver. We can't wait.

We agree with you...we've now done 6 cruises with a total of 38 days and we also like doing the unique itineraries...the med will be 7 and we have 8 booked for 2014 but the time we qualify for platinum they will probably change the whole structure. Up until the last cruise we went on, we've gone concierge so the booking window wasn't an issue. With the 1 bedroom being 28K (13k more than last time) we couldn't bring ourselves to do it. with the exorbitant prices of concierge we probably won't be doing it again for a while

Welcome Michael. I would think they should start posting excursions in the next month or so...I know my PIF date is sometime in Feb and they usually have all the excursions up by then. Could be they are having problems finalizing some of them.

I recently asked concierge about this and posted the reply on the preceeding page. They basically said they'll be out soon.

We're not huge Caribbean fans either, but have done 2 Easterns and 2 Westerns. We're done with them though, until they add new ports. And legitimate new ones, not like the Bahamas. We don't book concierge for the regular itineraries, but do on the longer cruises. We're in 8530 on this one and the 7 night preceeding it. What made it doable though, was that we have a 25% off coupon from art my bought that she never received (yet they took her money). DCL was very apologetic and sent the coupons for all of us.

My PIF date is January 12th and nothing!

We just got back from the New Year's Eve Cruise on the Fantasy. It was AMAZING (even with the huge Atlantic swells that rocked the ship for a full evening). Now I can get full on into prepping for the Med cruise and picking excursions. We're also Silver so hopefully our choices will still be available when it's our turn to check in. Can't wait to get back on the Magic! Who hoo!

Silver here too.... this will be my 4th so ... still need another for gold! LOL

I just want brunch in Palo. It's not much to ask for, right? :rotfl:

As for spa ... I don't really want a full massage. I just want a neck one ... you know, the ones where you're still fully clothed sitting on a chair. LOL Do they have those? I saw the chair on the deck of the Magic in September but there was nobody sitting nearby to knead my muscles. I was so sad.

I hear you as well ... this will be cruise 8 for us ... so far 69 days on board, 81 after this cruise ! I figure 10 cruises at 3 days each would only be 30 days! Go figure!

I was just reading one port excursion for Malta that involves snorkelling ... and it recommends that guests avoid contact with jelly fish. :rotfl: I keep thinking of Dory for some reason... LOL

Not sure if this was posted or not, but I just got it from concierge and wanted to pass it on.

Can you find out if they will have the tux rental avail. I would rather not bring the tux to Europe

Thanks
