I went to U of Waterloo in the 80s ... We'll have to talk ... it's a small world. There is another U of W grad on the trip too! We should have a Canadian meet on the ship!

We generally tip between 10-20% depending on the service and how the day goes and if they do anything that is beyond what we have booked them for.

When doing a bus tour, we tip $5 - $10 for the four of us. And depending on the bus driver, we sometimes tip him/her $5 or so.

Hi. Can someone remind me who is in charge of the Fish Extenders and also when the sign-up deadline is? We've had several new people join in the last couple of weeks and as we just hit the 75 days from sailing mark, I was thinking the sign-up deadline is soon.

I'm wondering the same thing. Who makes the call when the list is closed? When the maybes become yes or no? If the list is being split (there are more than 40 cabins signed up). We were hoping to get the quantity required firmed up so we could get started on them.

Hi! The FE exchange sign-up deadline is April 1. I'm not on Facebook so I'm not sure how that is working with the FE exchange. I am going to work only with the list in the sign-up spreadsheet we established quite some time ago so hopefully everyone will be listed there!

Yay for the Search Function. lllpath volunteered to coordinate Fish Extenders with a sign up of April 1st. So if you haven't signed up yet then make sure you add yourself to the spreadsheet and update your cabin number etc.

Everyone is signing up on the same spreadsheet whether they are just posting on DIS or also on Facebook so you just sign up once. Lllpath can get us a count of participating cabins so we can get our planning and preparation done.

Please respect that this is a big job so if you are rethinking participating, you'll need to decide so the numbers can be finalized. Some people personalize their gifts so they need time and info for that.

Also remember that FE exchanges are meant to be fun and not an expensive or time consuming activity. We love delivering because it gives us the opportunity to walk throughout the ship and look at cabin door decorations, etc.

These are the folks that have signed up for Fish Extenders as a Yes or Maybe. Note that some people appear twice because they have multiple cabins (like extended family) who are participating but not necessarily on DIS.

So if you're a maybe or if you've changed your mind, please update your info so there will be an accurate count.

Also the question came up about whether to split into two groups or keep it as one - we can do a poll after we get the final numbers and see what the concensus of the group is. I know some of us want to deliver to everyone, so even if we split into two groups, that doesn't prohibit giving something to everyone

Hi! My DH and I are looking into 'private tours' in Barcelona on Friday before the cruise that focus on Dali. I'm wondering if anyone out there would be interested in sharing the tour with us. The price is for up to 4 people so we could include 2 more folks with us and that way reduce the cost.
The information is below:
We'll explore all the main Gaudi attractions, including Gaudi's irresistible
architecture, such as the Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, the Park Guell, and the
Sagrada Familia. You won't have to wait in line to go inside the busiest sights,
such as Gaudi's Sagrada Familia church.
Having the driver adds convenience and efficiency, and makes it easier to reach
those places in town which are far from the city center, such as Gaudi's Park
Guell. There's also significant walking in this tour.
A 4 hour private tour with driver and guide costs 395 Euros.
Entrance tickets are not included.
