Thanks so much for the thoughts and prayers for DH. We are home, finally. We had to be there at 6am and didn't get home until about 2pm. DH always takes a long time to come out of it after a surgery. Plus the nurse kept disappearing for 45 minutes at a time. But anyway -- all went well and we are home now. He's sore, but doing okay.

Oh no! I'm surprised about that. I guess there's no rhyme or reason to the crowds. Maybe tomorrow will be the exact opposite!

That's so weird! I know Jo does TGM (or at least she used to), so I went over to take a look and he has all parks except for MK as green.

I hope they were still able to see and do what they wanted. I know how the JoBird's feel about Epcot

Yeah I think the whole trip has been a lot more crowded than they expected. Everything Jodi had read before they left said it was a very slow week with mostly walk-ons. I think they only actually ended up with a few days like that.


They went to MK this morning and it was pretty empty so they were happy! They stayed until about 2:00 and it started to get more crowded so they headed back to the GF. Going to Epcot tonight for dinner. Last night they ended up not going to DTD, they just hung out at the GF and relaxed and went swimming and walked to the Poly for Dole Whips.

Happy to hear your DH is back home and the surgery is over with. If he is anything like my DH he will be quite sore for the next few days. This is one of those times when the for better or WORSE part of the marriage vows kicks in as you may find your patience is tested.

It is too bad that the parks seemed busier than expected for Jo and her family. Staying at the resort last night and then heading over to the Poly for dole whips sounds like a very nice way to spend an evening.

Well believe it or not it is still raining here. Been raining since the day we got home. But no flooding on this side of the state thankfully!

Well.....I don't know how much she wants me to tell, but since you asked so nicely I will say that they ate are La Hacienda and we ate at La Cantina and neither of us will be in a hurry to get back....

I don't know about the rest of y'all, but to me it's like Jo just left for Disney! that was the fastest 9 or 10 days. I bet it flew by for her, too. I hope her trip was magical in spite of the heat and rain, which is pretty much a given in the summer. Now that we will soon have both of our girls back, I'm dying to hear all the details!

Shelly, I'm going to assume that your DH is doing allright, since you were on here, and you didn't have any bad stuff to report. That first couple of days is always the worst.
