We are booked for our Disney(Family)Moon at the Poly May 13 - May 20! DH, DD, and I are looking so forward to this trip.

This will be the first real chance DD & DH will have to form some lasting memories and the bonds that traveling together can bring to them. I couldn't think of a better place for our little blended family to begin making those memories than Disney World - and even more so, the Poly!

And Congrats on the wedding and upcoming Disney (Family) Moon!!! WAY back when we got married, I never heard of such things as a Disneymoon. Would have loved it! Guess I'll just have to settle for celebrating our anniversary there (37th!)!

We're going 5/22-28. This is our first family trip. (Dh, dd9, dd6, and me). As you can see by my siggie, I was there a long time ago as a kid. Epcot wasn't even built the last time I was there.

I'm stalking these boards every day as well as a few others. We've got a few ADRs (enough for all our TS credits) and I've got which parks we'll be visiting planned out. I can't wait!

Wow! And I thought 17 years between visits was a long time! There are so many new and cool things since you've last been there, you will be amazed.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who plans out way ahead which parks to be at which days. DH is an engineer and wants spreadsheets for EVERYthing! We check out EMHs, where our ADRs are for that day and plan accoridingly. I even have a spreadsheet for my outfits and what I will wear at which park! Guess after 37 years, I'm as obsessive as HE is!
And boy, it's really creeping up fast!. My ticker says 59d, 15h, 6! WooHoo!!!
We'll be 6 adults and I'll have a lime green Mickey head hanging off my bag somewhere, so look for me since we are overlapping a couple days!

Hello everyone ... Our family (DH and I, DS-21 and DD-19) will be at the Poly from May 8 to 15. This will be our second stay there, to make up for the first stay we had January 1st week of last year, when we about froze to death from the cold spell. lol Here we were at a "tropical" resort, but it was too bone-chilling cold for us to even wander around and enjoy the scenery ... we've still never seen the Poly grounds except for the (fast) walks between GCH/Tokelau and Tokelau/TTC. lol Well we certainly won't have to worry about that on our next trip ... can't wait!

We LOVED 3rd floor Fiji. Haven't requested anything other than a balcony & to be in the same building/floor as my DDs & their BFs so far. Still deciding if we want the same experience as 3 years ago or not or just to leave it up to the Tiki gods.

The last time we went I was super laid back and said "I don't care which longhouse, I would just like to be on the third floor." We really lucked out. I paid for a lagoon view and we ended up in the last room on the end in Aortoera with a straight on view of Space Mountain across the lagoon, and view of the castle to the right side of the balcony. I think it pays to be laid back, LOL, the Tiki Gods are good to those who aren't picky.

Congratulations on your upcoming Disneymoon!
Years ago when we got married, I had never heard of such a thing. (WAS there?) DH & I did the traditional Niagara Falls thing. Not sure DH would have agreed to it back then anyway! We WILL be celebrating our 37th anniversary this trip with our grown DDs & their DBFs. I hope you have as many wonderful years as we have had!
