Who's going to first SW Weekend on May 20th?

We are going to arive on 5/17 and attend our second Star Wars Weekend. (The first was 2001 and we had a blast!!)

It's so cool that two of our favorite entities (SW and Disney) come together like this!! We are soooo excited!!! Who else will be there? :thewave:

Going to our first SWW on May 20th. Can't wait! Of course, we won't see the opening of Episode III till we get home, but hey--it'll be something to look forward to that will cheer us up after our vacation ends.

This will be our first Star Wars Weekend...we'll be getting to WDW on May 16 and leaving on the 23rd. Went to Celebration III (the Star Wars Convention in Indy) last month and had a blast there...can't wait to experience what THIS combination will be like! DH and DS9 are the big fans in our family, but I had much more fun than I thought I would at CIII...and I'm the biggest WDW fan in the family, so this is going to be great!!!

I'll be there Friday, May 27, with my 16DS and his best buddy. I can't wait to see those Stormtroopers!! I plan to be at the gate at 8:00. Do you think that's early enough?

We will be arriving on the 28th and plan to hit it then or the 29th. Any good tips? (i.e. hit the character lines first, or ???) I have 3 boys, 2 of whom are Star Wars fans. The little one hasn't figured it out yet!

We will be arrriving the 17th and going to the midnight show at Pleasure Island on the 18th. We will also be at the first SWW on Firday and Saturday. When SWW was first announced, my 14 year old daughter said "Let's go!" so we are. What a great time: Star Wars and WDW!

We will be there the end of May (the 2nd weekend of SWW). My DH and DS are HUGE SW fans. This is a DREAM come true for DH since he's been a fan since he was our sons age (2 1/2)

We are going the first weekend, and went the first weekend last year.

I was explaining it to a co-worker. She asked what the events are.

"There are stormtroopers on the roof of the entry building when you get there." I explained.

"And..."

"There's some other stuff, but that's really enough for me."

I don't know why that's so cool to me, but it is! Last year they ran a summary film of all the movies with a little teaser to III. It had bloopers, too. I bet they'll have an outtakes film showing...

I'll post when we get back if there was anything particularly fun.
