Who's going September 2008?

I would agree with thet great minds except for the fact that we are talking about my brother! lol

All of your ADR's made?

Ha! I say the same kind of things about my brother! Yup - all or reservations have been made, now I just have to sit here and wait. It's killing me!

We have free dining -- I was on Disney.com/travel and asked a question about lodging in the live interactive box that's offered.

The Disney Travel employee (are Disney Travel employees also cast members?) who answered my questions asked if I would like a link to Disney World specials, and I said yes. Presto: A free dining link!

:cool1: We are going Sept 7-12 for the VERY 1st time !!! :cool1:
:cool1: Staying at the Polynesian :cool1:

We're going the exact same dates, and are also from WI!!!

Hope you are not flying Midwest out of Milwaukee. They have a ton of changes effective Sept 8 so our flight home on 9/12 has been cancelled! It's a major mess. Hope you aren't in the same boat.:worried:

We are booked sept 1oth at bwv

Oh good! I'll be there too! I hope we run into you! I'll be the one with the lime green baggalini and the LGMHs hanging from my stroller. We'll be there Sept 6-14. Plus, my sister will be there too and she has LGMHs all over too.
Yay!

BW is home to one of my favorite place to visit..... ESPN Club!

Ooooh! Maybe you'll spot me too. :3dglasses

Going Sept 27-Oct2. Booked before we checked out last Sept, so free dining.
We are staying at CBR again.
Hubby and I do Disney w/o kids (ours are grown). We went last Sept for our 30th and had a great time.
Any advice or tips from others that go kidless?

Add hubby and me to Aug 31 - Sept 9, Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Hey Jim - The site is telling me I haven't made enough posts to reply to your PM. So....

Hi! We are eating at:
Tutto
Sci-Fi (lunch)
Brown Derby (maybe)
Earl of Sandwich
California Grill (maybe)
Le Chefs de France

The BD and CG are maybes because Dan has to choose which one (I have reservations at both). Since they are 2 table services on the plan and we are trying to go as low budget as possible we can only do one or the other. We are only on the DP for 5 days.

We are just going to wing bfast and lunches, except for when we go to Sci-Fi.

I don't know how many minimum posts you need to pm, so just keep replying in the same forum.

We ate at CG 2 years ago during the fireworks at MK. The food was pretty good, although a little classier than we are used to. The view is well worth it!

How many times have you been to WDW?

You need 10 posts. I think this will be #7 for me. Weird that it allows you to receive PM's but not reply. :confused3

Our reservations at CG are early, 5:30 so we will watch the fireworks from the park but I'm happy with that. I hear it is great from the restaurant but I like to be "in the mix" of things, you know?

I honestly don't know how many times I have been but my guess is somewhere between 8 and 10? We used to go almost every year when I was a kid (my first time I was 3 and I remember parts of it vividly!). The last time I was there (and first time in a resort) was December 1999, for NYE. Talk about an amazing experience! We were on the list to get on the reservation list for 2 years then actually held our reservation for 9. A large chunk of my family went and we just had a blast.
I don't think even that trip will compare with the one I am taking with Dan in September though. There is no one on this earth I would have more fun with than him

Yeah, I went several times growing up. When I was in the Navy I was stationed in Orlando for school and went to WDW several times.

Janice and I have gone in '97, '99 for our honeymoon, '04, '06, '07 & this year. Usually it is just the 2 of us but this year my brother wanted everyone to go so there will be 9 counting my 1 year old nephew. We are staying at POR while my brother, girlfriend and 1 year old are staying at Sports. Sister, her husband, Mom & stepdad are staying at POP.

If you are going to be in the military, near Disney has to be one of the best places to be stationed!!

Wow - you are having a real family affair! You will have a great time!

The best was being down there right after the 1st Gulf War. Between Memorial Day & Labor Day of 1991, Busch Gardens, Sea World, MK, & Universal was free to military personnel. It was a great summer!!

It should be a fun time, but we have our own system when we are down there so I hope the others understand if we do things a bit different.

Military should be free all the time, but that's just my opinion. :)

I think we had 12 or 14 people. We split with some of our family when we were down there. A group of us like to move move move and others liked to rest rest rest. To keep from killing each other we did our own things then met up later for dinner and whatnot. We even went to different parks sometimes. All in all it was a very enjoyable trip!

Thats cool. They wanted me to organize the trip since I have the most experience and I love planning trips. I was wanting at least 1 meal as a group, and now we have all but 1 as a group. They liked my choices! I would imagine we will have a good chunk apart. My brother and I are golfing one day.

Aww, sounds really nice! We don't have time for any extra activites, unfortunately. We will only have 4 full days there.
