I am at all star sports.. sept 5-10. Please oh please tell me I will like the resort. I have never stayed value. Doing this for free dinnning.

Alter several trips to WDW staying off-site, in Jan. 2006 we decided to stay at the All-Star Music Resort. Our visit was excellent: Rooms were clean, staff very amiable and helpful, etc. Some people do complain about noise, but we weren't near the pools so, at least in our case, this was not an issue. The only (minor) point would be that, at certain times, the food court was a little crowded.

This year we will be staying at the All Star Sports, as it was the only one available at the time of our reservation. I read somewhere that its rooms have been recently refurbished, so that would be a plus.

We stayed there in Aug. last year. They were doing a refurb. on rooms...it should be fine.......however, as far as value resorts I would only stay at POP.......sorry, just being honest......Food court and souvie shop are superb......far above the others in value category....

Woo hoo! Staying at ASMu Sept. 7-12 for free dining!!!

Nervous about the heat & humidity, though as we usually go later in the fall or in winter. ALso nervous about staying at ASMu - we are POP snobs! But hey, WDW is WDW, right?

We'll be at ASMu the same time! Sept. 3-9
We usually do go in Sept. and it can be hot & humid. To beat the heat we usually head out of a park around noon'ish for a couple of hours and either hit the pool or some a/c. Also, we bring along a face cloth from the room and a zip lock bag to put it in. It is pretty refreshing to put the nice cold face cloth on.

I'll be sporting my lgmh and since I won't be spending money on food, that leaves more money for glowtinis....so just look for the short, soloist-blonde with the lgmh walking around with a glowtini in each hand
