Look for us!!! lol

We are celebrating our 10th anniversary!

I'm there with my hubby! It's been 10 years and I am sooooo excited! I couldn't fly for a while but now all is good and I've been planning up a storm. We booked last week! :yay: I need to try and see if I can reserve anywhere or if it's too late to get in to any of the restaurants.

I had the we were going to POFQ 8/30-9/3. Well we upgraded to the Wilderness Lodge 8/30-9/4

We will be in the Magnolia Bend section. We will probably walk through the AB section just to check it out. We haven't done that the last couple times.

Maybe we will bump into you in the Mill or Fulton's. We walk around and sit for a bite quite often at the hotel when we are not busy at the parks..lol

I know what you mean. Where all are you eating this time around?

We are doing; Whispering Canyon, Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, Crystal palace breakfast, 1900 Park Fare breakfast, and Mama Melrose's

It's totally possible. We love walking around the resort. Have you stayed there before?

This is my first time to stay on site. I loved the way POR looked and that's how we decided on it. My parents stayed at CR for their 40th anniversary- a few years ago.

I am a teacher so normally dread summer coming to an end, but this year it seems like September will never get here. Have you been during free dining?? If so, how did you think the crowds were? From everything I've read, the crowds in the parks are manageable, but in the restaurants they are terrible.

Sounds like we have some of the same. I am so jealous you have Mama Melrose. We have been trying weekly for 2 months to get it with no luck! We hate to have to leave the park that night.

Here is what we have as of right now (although one or 2 are still getting played around with.haha)
Liberty Tree Tavern
Whispering Canyon
Spoodles or Rainforest Cafe (can't decide here.lol)
Chefs de France
Le Cellier
Boma
Kona
Crystal Palace (halloween party night)
1900 Park Fare Breakfast
CRT (our last night and to celebrate our anniversary and dh's b-day):thumbsup2

Riverside is very beautiful. We have been 3 times and never stayed anywhere but there. We can't even bring ourselves to stay anywhere else b/c we feel so "at home" there..:rotfl:

The crowds are for the most part managable in the parks. The food places are PACKED! The buses can get really packed too, esp if you happen to be doing the EMH days..lol

I agree with the DisneyBunch about the crowds and the food places. We were there last year the week after Labor Day and didn't have any issues with the crowds. I am sure there will be places and times where it will be a little more crowded but it's totally manageable.

POR has been our home away from home the previous two years and again this year. Like the DisneyBunch said it's very beautiful and spread out enough that you never feel overwhelmed by crowds unless you hit the food court first thing in the morning. You will absolutely love it.

I agree with Jim, I never had a problem with free dining and restaurants last year. The longest we waited in line for anything was 30 min for test trac, and that's only b/c it kept raining so they kept shutting the ride down. Other than that, most rides were either walk-on or 10 min. waits! :thumbsup2

I love monsoon season! I wish I were staying at POR again, this year!
BTW, my dad wants to go with me to Disney so I won't be by myself :goodvibes Good thing he loves Mickey...just not as much as I do ;)

Tell Janice we're on for drinks at Jellyrolls!

We have Mama Melrose's as part of the Fantasmic Dinner Package. I will be sure to let you know how it is. We will be down there with my parents, my sister and her husband, my brother, his girlfriend and their 1 year old son. As you saw we are staying at POR and the rest of the family is staying at POP and AllStar Sports. We are spoiled!

That is so cool that your dad is going. What about your @#@%& friend? lol

Janice is typing this for me as we speak. I am so glad I married someone with typing skills.

We will see if we can work in Jellyrolls. That sounds like a blast.
