Who's going September 2008?

I'm going to laminate one of the LGMH (lime green Mickey head) color swatches from Home Depot and hang it from my Baggallini bag. They were talking on another thread about using these. They were sharing stories of how to make it look like you were really going to paint a room. I guess they are a bit scarce at times. Pretty funny stuff. If you type "LGMH" into the search bar at the top, you will get all kinds of threads talking about this subject.

Also another great Diser said they put an eraseable board on their room door and invited people to sign it. I thought that was a cool idea.

Everyone go pick up the LGMHs at Home Depot. Last year I would just drop the paint chip things in a bowl of water, let it sit until soft and then peel the green head off. I would then stick it in a thick book to flatten, and then all I did was stick it between clear contact paper to "laminate" it. Oh, and I put my DIS name on it before all that.

I hung one on my baggallini and on my stroller and we stuck them on our window of our room. I got noticed a couple places and it is so fun to meet other DISers.

If we all pick up a LGMH or two... or twenty... we'll spot each other easily!

And yes, the paint people at the Home Depot think we're crazy. So does my DH!

I've got mine - our Home Depot had been out of them for a while, so when they got them in, I grabbed about a dozen lime green ones!!

Yes there is a bunch of Dis mett set from the 1st of September to last week... but since I am going to be there the mid month I payed attention more on the 6th onwards.. Petals is the bar next to to the laundry Room at POP by the Hippy Dippy Pool!!

And yes there is a TOt meet on Sept. 13, 2008 !!! Check out the pics we had from last year... a few are joining us back.. and there are already a few new diser who have joined in

Hey everyone! I am thinking about changing the format of the list. Its getting long and I find its bit hard to read. I was thinking about either keeping the order by dates but seperating it by each week (arrival date Aug. 24-30, Aug. 31-Sept. 6, and so on). Or I could seperate it by resort? I will keep everyone's date info and free dining info in either instance.

What does everyone think? Which would make it more "readable"?

We are going to AKL September 20-28......There are 7 of us going to celebrate my Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary.

We had picked out our dates before we even knew anything about free dining so it was a great surprise to find out about it. I have to thank this board for making me aware of it. I had discovered this board when i was looking for information about AKL and now I am addicted to it. I'm here everyday looking for things and I have found lots of information that I wasn't aware of....so thank you all. This should be a great trip.

We're going in September to celebrate my parent's 39th anniversary. We figured, why not? Congratulate your parents on 50 years. That's wonderful.
