Wendy and Kimber! Check out our 9/28/02 thread! There are a BUNCH of us going! So glad you two will be there also! Do either of you have kids? If so what are there ages? Ours will be 10 and 8 (almost 9).

Count me in along with 5 other families...cannot wait...went last year and our head server invited us to eat dinner with the Captain and 2 other couples in Palo one night...their was a photographer there to take our pictures at the table and we received complimentary photo and the PALO menu was signed and the longitude and latitude was put on the menu for the time that we had dinner...it was really a wonderful experience...we hope we will get that same opportunity this time...

Colins Mom and Kimber, I just noticed y'all are both new to the DIS. Welcome! I hope you find lots of good information here for planning your cruise.

We'll be cruising with our 2 boys, 5 & 7. They can't wait to get back on the ship. They enjoy the cruise more than going to WDW!

It looks like there will be a lot of DISers on that cruise. Hmmmm... Sounds like a DIS meet in the making!

Yes, I am new to these boards. Where is the "magical meeting" page?

My daughter will be 10 by then and my son is 5. Sounds like our kids will be hanging around together.

To join the DIS Meet click on "The DIS Discussion Forums" at the top of this page, then click on DIS Home (upper right hand corner) then scroll down the page, look in the left hand colume. Almost at the bottom of the list you will see "Magical Meetings", click on it and then click on "View Magical Meeting"then add your info.

If someone knows how to put a link to that page on to this one that would help.

The DIS meet is overlooking the Goofy Pool on deck 10 (terminal side) after the life boat drill. Last year we had almost 100 of us Dis'ers there! Hoping to set a new record this cruise!!!!

Everyone...when the dates get a little closer I am going to put together a Cruise List, with info suppied (I hope) by all the Dis'ers. Once the list is compleat I will e-mail everyone a copy of it. Real names, occupations, home towns, ages of children ect. This will not be info that will be posted on any pubic site.

Also there is another thread called 9/28/02 cruise we started some time ago. If you are so inclined, check it out and post a message there as well, so the others who are going can say hello!

Relling Twin, Holy cow! Nearly 100 people there last year?!?! That's quite a turn out. Hopefully the meet this year will be just as successful. It will work our perfect for us, since that's where we like to be for the sail away, anyway.

Wendy, I am so glad to have an "official" Dis member coming on this cruise. Last year we had TnRobin and CarolAnn with us!It really dosn't take too much to get 100 people. There were about 30 Dis'ers plus their families. We even had T-shirts made! It was so cool to see all the members together! Several people even brought small items from their home state to give out. I made name tags and brought lanyards for everyone.I hope to do the same this year.

WE are going on the 28th of September Magic. We just returned from our first cruise on the Magic Feb 23rd. It was awesome! The reason we are going again so soon is because my son played the Mouseketeer game and won a seven night cruise for two. How great is that??? We loved our trip. Especially our servers. Vlado and Marco. Unfortunately my kids didn't really click into the clubs. I think because it was a full ship and there were so many kids there. Hopefully next time it won't be so crowded. Would love to "meet" anyone else going at that time. If you are reading this, Rykersmom, thanks for all the tips and maybe we will see you again.

We are cruising on the september 28th magic. Just returned saturday from the feb 23rd cruise. It was wonderful. ten year old son played who wants to be a mouseketeer and won a seven night cruise!!!! We loved the cruise! Loved our servers and loved almost everything else!! Will be with husband, daughter 14, son 6 and son 11. Would love to meet someone else who has a teen daughter.. ours didn't really get into the club. thanks for any replies.

Can't help with teen daughter thing (mine are 8 and 9) sorry. But I'm sure by cruise time we will have some friends for her to hang with!

Eshannon.....I saw your son win the cruise. We were a large group sitting in the 2nd row all the way to the left (right behind the cruise staff). Your son was so awesome!!!! I had met him earlier in the cruise during one of the pin trading sessions and he was very proud of his "official vest" with his name on it.

I was so impressed with him I gave him one of my Patriotic Mickey pins. He really seemed appreciative!!! I told him to keep that one and not trade it.

I was so happy to see that he won the cruise. I didn't realize you guys were part of the DIS family or I would of mentioned I was also!!!

I've got everything your 14 year old could want......LOL
If all works out as planned we'll be joining all of you on the 9/28/02 cruise...we did the 9/29/01 last year. I have mutt and jeff......14 year old boy/girl twins. They had a wonderful time last year and can't wait until this year. Having each other made it a little easier on them to join in the activities at Common Grounds.

hi, rykersmom, I replied on another thread so I wasn't sure you would see it. Still don't have all this "posting" stuff figured out yet! William did make a deal with us.... He said he would rather take a trip to disneyworld with just his dad. I got it all booked today. they are going June 8-13th and are staying at the All Star Music. He wants to do pin trading at Epcot. It will be nice for him to just have time by himself with his dad. My mom and I are taking all three kids to dw in early december so we thought we would take the cruise by ourselves. Booked it a coupleof days ago. We upgraded from the category 11 that was awarded to a category 6. WE really enjoyed the verandah! Can't believe I am so excited to go again. The excursions look great for the western itinerary. How is your "baby". Mine was fine when I got back. She is going to the vet next week. William just came in and said to say hello to the lady that gave him the mickey pin. He really was so pleased with himself. I don't think the excitement has worn off yet! I tried to call dee to see if she might be going on another cruise soon, but no luck yet. Talk to you again soon. Elaine
