Who's going in October

now we are going!!! 10/12 - 10/17 POFQ!!! Short trip as we won't arrive until after 10pm on 10/12, Nationals on 10/16, and an early flight home on 10/17, but I'll take 3 days at Disney over 0 days at Disney any day!!!

Good morning October Diser's. After reading the threads I missed over the weekend there are a lot of birthdays. Don't forget to tell CM's it's your birthday. When I took DD for her 2nd birthday we went to guest services at the parks and she got a pin saying it was her birthday, plus one going through the turnstiles at international gateway. It was fun to tell it was her birthday and they treated her like a princess. It was seat for her to have all that birthday attention.

We're planning on going Oct. 10-17. Haven't booked yet but most likely will stay at Pop. Trying to decide if it would be worth it to stay at the Contemporary. Since we're getting a good deal on airfare maybe we can splurge and upgrade to Contemp. We like the idea of being able to walk to MK. Any suggestions?

MNSSHP is definitely on the agenda again this year. We went last year and it was wonderful. Of course, we went early on in the month.

We are going on our honeymoon on October 18th and staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge until the 24th and then a 4 day diseny cruise....YIPPY

If anyone is interested, October 30th around 2pm we'll be by the pool at the Poly. Eating all those low fat french fries and hamburgers, with the diet ice cream sundae's. ;)

We are definitely going in Oct. Trying to time it with the school calender and go during some inschool fundraising/holiday to minimize time away from studies. Or we may wait and go on Oct 30, split stay so as to take advantage of low November rates. Anyone else starting in October and ending in November?

Yes, I'm going from Oct. 29 thru Nov. 3,2004. I just e-mailed my POFQ Resort request to The Magic for Less. Hope it's not too crowded on Halloween. My boys are ages 8 and soon to be 3. I think it would be fun for them to be there on Halloween.

Dude.... We're there 10/24-29/04 ... @ BWV and walking to WS to drink around the world. Ahhhhhh, lifes simple pleasure ... visting WDW is better than a sharp stick in the eye!!

he, he,he.

Trying to decide if I should just wait til the codes come out -
hoping to be at the Wilderness Lodge the 8th til the 17th

so If you see a tall brunette next to the pool with a 3 month old - that'll be me! :)
This is the plan to replace the cancelled May trip due to the pregnancy!

We will be staying at BCV Oct. 3-8! Will probably add a few days beforehand also, but not sure where yet! I wonder when they will announce the dates for MNSSHP? We went last year in early Oct. but I can't remember how early released the date. We would like to get tickets for 2 dates maybe. Oh well, happy planning to all! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

DH and I were going to WDW the 16th of October for 5 nights followed by the 3 night Disney Wonder cruise for our 8th anniversary. Now that DH got the 7 for 4 offer from Disney Visa we are adding 2 more nights-yeah! October 14th-21st at WDW followed by the 3 night cruise!!! We will either stay at the Poly or Contemporary this time. Debating on concierge. :Pinkbounc We are going to do MNNSHP, Halloween Horror Nights at IOA one night and Food and Wine festival at Epcot!

We plan on going Oct. 9 - Oct. 15, won't book until AP rates are released. We'll be there with the in-laws, a total of 11 of us.

Does anyone know if it is more crowded around Columbus Day?

Booked our flights yesterday from the UK via Atlanta with Delta. Going 21st October to 4th November - 2 weeks. Don't know which accommodation yet - hopefully will stay on WDW property for at least part of our stay. Wonder what the chances of Disney doing the Fairy Tale Package again or may buy an AP.

I am looking forward to it. We have taken my mom and sister with us 5 times but never on a cruise so it should be fun.
