Who's going in October

I know it's early but I've just send in my deposit for arrival on 10/30/04 at the Poly! Mer, DH and two kids! I'm obsessed with planning our trip and are making calendars already. I am so excited! Anyone else?

We plan on going in mid to late Oct. for the Paintball World Cup. DH's team, PUSH, will be playing. We are holding the Grand opening for Paintball Planet. It will be the only indoor paintball facility in Louisiana. DH says that if everything goes as expected with this NEW business (money-wise), we won't have to worry about catching AP rates in order to stay at a WDW deluxe! We've never done WDW resorts, so I'm praying that we'll be able to stay in YC or WL in Oct. and on our "possible" trip in late April (if business is good, then it's a GO!! ) Like you, I can't stop thinking about our trip to WDW! I wish I could place a deposit on a room right now. You must be SOOO ecstatic to know that you are DEFINITELY going. Have fun, s&k'smom!!

We will be in the world in October! Have ressies at POR for Oct. 15. I will be watching these boards for announcement of MNSSHP ticket sales, then will plan our other park days around that. Can't wait!!

Hi-We're looking into going on Oct. 29,2004-looking at WL. You must be excited that you booked already! I want to book ours soon-need to double-check on airfare and AAA discount.

I'm pretty sure we are going in October. My plan so far is to do the Disney Cruise (Wonder) 17th - 21st and then WDW and US/IOA till the 27th.

Can't decide where to stay yet. We're a family of five so we'll need two rooms...or POR with the trundle...or the cabins at the campground...or rent from a DVC member

I love the planning of it all it's so much fun!

We'll be there. Our 4th trip this year. We have 3 rooms reserved at Pop Century -- Oct. 20-29. Food and Wine Festival, here we come.

Definitely planning to be there Oct 7-11 for my fall break! I am so excited because this will be the first time that the Food and Wine Festival will be at the same time! I already have my reservations at POFQ.

My gang and I will be arriving Oct.28 - Nov.5. We will be splitting our stay between Pop and AKL. Can't wait to do MNSSHP.

Just booked 5 rooms for Oct.30-Nov.5. today! Actually was quite painless. When I called they did make me call the Magical Gatherings number since we had 10 adults and 3 kids. It went very well though. We'll see when the confirmations come in the mail if she got everything right but I thought she was very careful taking done all the info since I made all the reservations for all 5 parties.

Tae Kwon Do Nationals are heald there the weekend after Columbus Day, and my boys (currently brown belts) would love to compete. They are already asking as several of their friends are already talking about going. It would probably be a short trip 3-4 days, and maybe stay at POP.

We'll have to see where we are $$$ wise after our upcoming trip (16 days to go).

This site is wonderful, thanks to all posters.

My family will be going to WDW from Oct 30 thru Nov 6, We own a timeshare and exchanged it for a week at Orange Lake Country Club. Does anyone have any wisdom they could share with us about planning our trip? We were there a few years ago and stayed at Dixie landings for a week the end of Nov/beg Dec and had a wonderful time. Has anyone stayed At OLCC? Convenient?

We'll be ther 10/2-10/10 at BCV. This will be our first trip home as DVC members. DS will turn 3 on 10/6! We are hoping to attend MNSSHP during that week! Oct. is just too far away though!
