MommyBoo - would it be possible to add a F&W Party for the Senses column? (or maybe I should find out if I'm the only one!!) :goodvibes

I'm just thinking, even tho we dont know each other, is anyone else planning to book Party for the Senses ? Or any of the "special events"? (the ones that cost extra) I'm just thinking... Dis'ers share boats.... and I've read its hard to get seating at PftS.... maybe someone else would like to meet up at the venue? I believe I've read it can hold anywhere from 200 - 400 ( :confused3 details details I honestly dont know!!)

So dh and I are going Oct 8 - anyone else???

Is anyone else "hesitant" to meet up with Dis'ers... as in all honestly, we are "strangers"... of course I have the attitude we're just friends that havent met yet... any thoughts???

eeyore45 - Hmmm, if there seems to be enough of a demand, I probably could. :confused3 How many of you are going? Come on! Speak up people! :chat: :teeth:

I would love to be able to meet up with some other Diser's that will be there 10/1 - 10/8. Last year on a RCCL cruise we took we organized a meet and greet our first day on the ship of people who had been "chatting" online in a cruise forum similar to Disboards. Granted that was a much different vacation but I would still like to be able to say "hello" in person.

I would love to meet also. It would be nice to do one of those grand gathering cruises (Peter Pan) that I have heard so much about. I'll be there 10/1 - 10/8 also. :wave2:

Ok when are these grand gatherings happening ???

Sarah myers

Will be there 1-4th of OCT thanks

Eller ~ Thank you for taking the time to post that (ie Exquiste F&W)! I appreciate it!! and Wow!!

MommyBoo, ~ It sounds like I'm the only Diser on this thread that's going, (ie Party for the Senses) and I see lots of people are starting new threads on Who's going to MNSSHP on their same dates!! So, when it gets closer to Sept, I'll start a thread (so it wont get buried!!) (lol, ok it also could be no one wants to speak up just yet they they are going on the 8th!!) (Really I'm a nice person!! I'm a teacher, and a Scout volunteer!!)

CannotWait - Hey that sounds just too easy to bold... and it didnt work for me!! :rotfl: 2nd time a charm - it worked!! :bounce:

Now someone tell me - am I the only one who's smilies are changed? I know have 4 columns visible, but different than last months!!! Where's Princess?? Where's Pink Bounce??? Yes, I know to click on "more", but I'm too lazy!! :rotfl: at least lol is still up here!! :rotfl2:

Have a great week - looks like I'm headed out of town again, and I'm going to try and talk dh into giving me the laptop w/ wireless card!! but... :confused3

No problem! We did the party for the senses about 5 years ago and it was fun, but are on to other things now. I think our final choice is the Signature Dinner at the California Grill on October 2.

Well, I couldn't take it anymore! I've always wanted to do both MNSSHP and MVMCP in the same year (usually I alternate) and now I AM!!!

We're doing a quick long weekend trip for girls only September 30 thru October 3!!

We will do MNSSHP October 2nd with CP at 3:40p.

We'll be celebrating my 5 year old's 6th birthday while we're down there!

I'm so excited! We're going to try out the Caribbean Beach Resort for the first time (being DVC members we don't get to try out too many moderates) thanks to the free dining package!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

OK did I miss something? When did they add Oct 2 to the MNSSHP list? I would have done that night but they did not offer it in the beginning! Now I guess I am stuck with Sept 30!! :sad1:

MNSSHP is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It is a special ticketed event that takes place in the Magic Kingdom after hours. Tickets cost $37.23 for ages 10 and up and $29.77 for ages 3 - 9. The dates for the party are: September 30, October 2, 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31
You can order tickets by calling 407-W-Disney or by ordering them online at Walt Disney World's official website.

Here is some more info from wdwinfo: :flower: http://www.wdwinfo.com/holidays/halloween.htm

I hope that helped. :) If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

So you are allowed in the parks after the parks closed? I had read somewhere that it was not as great as people had hoped for.? Have you been to it before? Is it worth the extra money? Do you have to dress up for it? Just wondering?

Thanks

If you do not have a park ticket for the day, you're allowed to enter the Magic Kingdom around 4pm with your Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party ticket. The Magic Kingdom closes to the public at 6pm and the party starts at 7pm and goes until midnight. I haven't been to the Halloween party but I've heard it's a lot of fun and definately worth it. I have been to the party at Christmas though and had an amazing time! :cool1: No, you don't have to dress up.
