OK. I tried to read all of the threads from the beginning, but WOW, this is a long thread so I just skimmed them. Seems to be alot of people going in October this year.

I just booked our trip last weekend. :cool1: My son (12) and I will be staying at All Star Sports Oct 22-28. I also just booked our MNSSHP for Oct 25 tonight. We will also have PS or ADR for LTT at 5:10 that night and I get to celebrate my birthday. I'm so excited. This will be our first time in Oct and MNSSHP. :cheer2:

Mommyboo--I'm just north of you and I drive all the time. (I'm scared to death of flying, although I have done it) All I can say is that portable DVD players are the best!! :rotfl2:

We flew the last two times. In 2002, we had to fly off course because of severe storms. In 2003, our plane left 4 hours late! And the last two we spent sitting on the plane on the runway! Dh said never again and I have to agree.

I will be utilizing that DVD player to the best of it's capabilities! There's some new video games coming out for the Nintendo DS for the older two that they will be getting on the morning of the trip. And then I have a box of activites too. Hopefully, everyone will be happy.

I had to edit to add that we will see you at MNSSHP and LTT!! :cool1:

Finally I can join in! This trip was a birthday surprise for DD who is 14 today. It will be DD, her best friend and best friends mother who have never been to WDW before and me. We will make a quick trip for our first MNSSHP Oct. 28 - Nov. 2. Staying at CBR for first time. (stayed at POFQ last 2 times - hope we like CRB) MNSSHP tickets 3 nights - Oct 28, 30, and 31.
Mommy Boo will you please add us to your list? We have AR's for LTT for the 28th at 5:35. Thank You. :jumping2:

My family(DH, DD6, and me) will be going September 30-October 7 staying at POR. We are going to MNSSHP October 2. It will be our first time staying at POR and our first Halloween party there. My DD is going to be the Blue Fairy. I'm not sure if DH or I will dress up yet.

We're going too!! Right now we're booked Oct. 3-9 at ASMu, but I'm hoping to scrounge around for enough money to book an extra three nights... so hopefully we will be there Sept 29 - Oct 9th! (MNSSHP on the 6th) :cheer2:

Golly! Gwarsh! Gee! I just came in from a link from MommyBoo. :flower: I started at the beginning until I saw there were 109 pages! We (DH, DS11, DD9 & myself) are going 9/24-10/1 2005. We plan on going to MNNSH on 9/30.

This will be our first. My husband SAYS he will wear whatever costume I make (yeah, right). :rotfl2: I am going to be Snow While, DS will be Captain Jack(from Pirates/Carribean) and DD will be Belle. :Pinkbounc

This will be our second trip (our first with dining). I must have changed several of my ressies three times! :earseek: I have kept the same ones for at least a week now. I am pretty pleased with them. However, I could not get an early enough seating for MNNSH at LTT, so we are goinging for an early one at Epcot & riding the monorail back. :moped:

I am really glad to hear that the lines will be more reasonable.

Oh yeah :cool1: doin' the 90 day dance  :rockband:

Wish me luck for tomorrow! I'll be one of the ones on the phone to make my ADR's for the whole trip! Hope they have extra people on the lines at Disney!

Welcome to all of the new people! Buglade - I've got you on the list but don't have a resort for you.

tikkipoo - Good luck!

Are we the only ones going in October and NOT going to MNSSHP? Am I going to really regret not going? We'll be in the World Sept 29 - Oct 6 but so far I haven't bought tickets for the party. We haven't been at this time of year before, we usually go in January. It seems to me that we'd have to leave the parks early the day of the party to rest - or not go at all - and then the kids would be too tired to enjoy the parks the day after the party because we'd been out so late. Am I way off base here and missing the whole point of MNSSHP??? :confused3

Help me out here you regular MNSSHP goers...what are the awesome things we'll be missing by not doing the party?!?!?! :confused3

mouseika ~ We went to MNSSHP last year and were not impressed. We're going back to WDW in Oct and had no intention of going to MNSSHP this year...that is, until a couple of nights ago. Now the boys are asking to go again. And with all the positive reviews and repeat visitors that I hear about on these boards I'm wondering if maybe we just had a bad experience last year and should give it a try again.

Last year we went to a park during the day and then headed back to the hotel for an afternoon rest. It was the only day that we made the boys rest. (Usually my DH and I would taking turns resting while the other took the boys swimming or to the fun center.) We went to MNSSHP about a half hour after it got started and we missed the mad rush that I've heard about at the gate. And because the boys (and DH and I :goodvibes ) had rested we had no problem staying until the end.

It's been awhile since I've posted to this thread.

I've changed our trip dates and resort. We're now going October 1-5 and staying at All Star Sports instead of Pop Century. :sad2: We're still doing MNSSHP on the second.

Here's what I've planned so far, I hope I don't have to change to much once the October hours are released.

10/1 check into All Star Sports, dinner Planet Hollywood, DisneyQuest

10/2 Breakfast Chef Mickey's, Animal Kingdom, MNSSHP, dinner LTT

10/3 Epcot, dinner Rose and Crown

10/4 MGM early lunch 50s Prime Time Cafe, late dinner Hollywood and Vine

10/5 (son's 14th birthday :cheer2: ) Magic Kingdom, lunch Crystal Palace, fly home :sad2: :wave2:

mommyboo! i would like to join the list too. Me, dh, dd(4), ds(2) are going 10/1-10/05 at por and 10/5-10/7 at nickhotel. I really enjoy this thread!!

Just reading this thread, I'm getting more and more excited!! Later this week, I can start making my ADRs!!

Mommyboo--Maybe we'll run into each other at the party or dinner. Have a safe drive.

When I posted my question about not going to MNSSHP I forgot to say...Add me to the list mommyboo! All Star Movies 9/29 - 10/6 :cheer2:

I"M HOME!!! [/Size=5]

Been camping with the Boy scouts, in the north woods of Wisconsin, and I have now officially EARNED my vacation!! :cool1: Knowing I was going to Disney in 85 days kept me SANE I tell you!! :rotfl2: Picture getting up at 5:30 AM, frezzing DAMP throwing on clothes, and a jacket, driving 1/2 mile to get a cell signal, calling Disney to get your preferred times for Le Cellier, than doing it again, to get 1900 Park Fare - - only to realize the cell signal put you 5 min late, so knowing it wasnt a big deal, you waited till your next time hitting a signal... and all is good!!

 Got all my Dining Choices  and now I'm home, in a cool, DRY a/c home, with internet access!! :cheer2:

Hope I didnt miss anything!

We're not going either for the exact same reasons. There's so much to see and do down there that we haven't done, it just didn't fit in the schedule.
