i did not know about them opening up more times 90 days out. so i gave it a try and just called. i was told the earliest was at 650. ugh.

Please update our information. We are now staying at Port Orleans French Quarter(10/16-20) and then doing the Disney Cruise(10/20-23)

I heard that for the MNSSHP the characters at LTT would be in costume can anyone confirm this? Also would they be in costume at 4:30 or would it be for after the party officially starts at 7pm?

I found out a short cut to getting through the telephone questions to reserve CRT. When you get the first promp hit 1 and then the second when they ask if you are in the orlando area and need to make a res hit 1 again as if you are already there. You will skip putting in your res number and the other two promts after that. I hope this helps someone I know it has done the trick for me and I got through right away this week. Let everyone know if it works for those using it. Good luck.

They wear eye masks and/or aprons that say Happy Haunting or Boo. The CMs wear make up to look kind of HM looking.

They start right at 4:00p

Someone just posted on another board that they are not letting people in with their MNSSHP and MVMCP until 5pm. Please say this isn't so - I just canceled 6:30pm LTT ressies when I got 4:30pm ressies today at the 90 day mark.

I just read that too and I'd take it with a grain of salt. They've been letting party goers in after 4:00p since 2001. Of course, with all things Disney, this could change but I doubt it.

I'd love to know who told them that. Most CMs on the phone don't even know the 'unoffical' policy of letting party goers in early so there's no point in asking them.

I guess we'll know for sure once the parties start on September 30. I'm not worried though.

the CM says .. "hold on one moment .. I'm reading the notes in your account" and then it's quiet for several moments.

MIL got an invoice in the mail today stating that her airfare has expired and that final payment is due on 7/21. That's interesting because I booked her ressies and we have not received such notice. So I'm on hold with Disney World Travel Company (or whatever it's called) now ... I would LOVE to know what is documented .. probably something like .. "This lady bugs the crap out of us .. don't give her anything she requests." AAUGH!!! I can't help it. When I'm told one thing and yet another happens ... I want to know why. While I would love to just pay in full right now to avoid loosing anything .. I don't want to part with my precious hard earned money until I absolutely have to.

Is anyone else totaly bummed out that we won't get to see Lucky the Dinosaur during our trips? I bet it's a pretty cool thing.

I am REALLY bummed. Our daughter is really into Dinosaurs. To the point that she "calls Dinosaurs" quite frequently. She has this really funny yelling / chant type thing she does. When we question her she says that she is "calling the dinosaurs". I thought it would be SO cool for her to see Lucky in action. Why is it that they aren't keeping him there???

Thank you so much for letting me know that they will wear costumes at LTT for our 4:30 reservation. I really look forward to it and I know my son will love it.

Also if they do not let people in to the park for MNSSHP till 5pm and your reservation is for earlier couldn't you add a day on to your MYW ticket for a couple of dollars more? I know this won't work for passes that are only for a couple of days because the cost would be much more, but if you have the longer stay tickets you could wait till the party and if you find out they won't let you in till 5pm then you could just upgrade your tickets there for a few dollars. Just a thought. Maybe it will be an option for someone.

As for Lucky, I read that his home is actually at Disneyland but he also travels to different places so his technology can be studies and others can enjoy him.

I think I read that they are taking him to Disney in Japan for their opening.?. I just think that'd be a really nice thing to have at A.K. all the time. Just like that "Ivy lady". Anyone see her? People were mesmerized! My husband fell in love. Weird, huh?

I have the October 2005 DVCers list, but have we decided on a meeting point for these dates yet? I've gone through the pages, but I didn't see anything, so please forgive me if this was already decided.

We are tentatively planning on going Oct. 14-16 for a quick trip. We just got back from a 4-day trip end of June, so much depends on $$$. We plan on staying at a campsite at Ft. Wilderness. We've spent our first (March 2004) WDW vacation off-site and the last (June 2005) at DoubleTree in DTD. I have a family of 6 so the other resorts tend to be real budget busters. We have a leftover day on some 2004 UPH tickets which we can use one day and then buy the MNSSHP ticket for the second day for a nice 2-day MK trip. We plan on taking 1 day just to play at the Ft. Wilderness Campground. So our schedule look like this:

Thurs. Oct. 13 - Travel (10hrs). Check-in evening. Set-up camp.
Fri. Oct. 14 - Magic Kingdom (EMH). Everyone will be too excited to sleep in on the first day!
Sat. Oct. 15 - Camp day. Swimming, Fishing, Sing-a-long
Sun. Oct. 16 - MNSSHP. End with a bang! Stay until close. Make sure family gets plenty of RR before the party starts!
Mon. Oct. 17 - Travel (10hrs). Pack and check out by 10am.

Am I nuts to try this?! At worst I figure a short three day vacation will help us determine if the family can do WDW at Ft. Wilderness (roughing it).

My husband and I and our 2 kids(ages 2 and 4) will be there from Oct. 20-24. We're staying at SSR. We'll be at our first MNSSHP on the 23rd.
