Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

It was just posted on another thread that tickets for MNSSHP go on sale this Sunday as thought. Apparently that info came from a person at disney. I will be on the phone this sunday all day if I have to. We plan on going on Oct 30th. Nice to see that everyone is sooooo excited about the halloween party. This is our first but we have heard great things about it and can't wait to go!

I believe that would be the Unofficial Guide to Disney, a poplular book, loaded with lots of helpful information, and touring guides. I read it and read it, highlight parts, dog ear pages.... love it,, Len Testa also posts here on the Dis updating information, he also has a website...

I called twice today and the first CM had no idea of when the dates or tickets would be released and the second CM said "no we don't have the dates or when they'll go on sale but my computer says sometime in May"

Well, I just came across yet another thread with another person saying that a CM told them they'd definitely be going on sale May 1.

So I guess we'll all be calling Sunday and driving Disney crazy!!

I would think if you were going earlier in the month (either the 10/4 or 10/6 date - which ever turns out to be correct) then you wouldn't have to jump on the phone first thing Sunday morning right?

We are camping at Fort Wilderness.Oct 7 ,15th. I planned on going to MNSSHP 2 nights, not sure how DD 5 can handle the late nights even with a nap.. Ok it's Me that can't handle the late nights When I booked our campsite, I too asked when the tickets were going to be on sale. The CM had no info.. YOU can bet I'll be calling May 1st Dh is still whining about eating at Liberty Tree Tavern since DD 5 does not really eat enough to compenstate the $.....so I'm thinking DD14 and I can eat w/out them and they can catch up w us in the park, but then I KNOW dd 5 will soo love the characters in costume.. all the delima's of planning I love it!

ps.. here's wishing too fewer 'canes this year too!!

DIS site does not list that date,but I can still hope for it when Official dates are released. We are only there 2 nights before our cruise and won't be in town early enough on Thursday unless I pull DD out of school early...... She is already missing 3 days???

I guess it was supposed to be a secret. I can't imagine the computer said "sometime in May." That sounds silly.

Just booked our flights today! Going on exactly the same date as last year 21st October for 7 nights - will probably go to Pop again - using our AP's one more time before they expire. Planning to go to MNSSHP on Thursday 27th October - our last full day - our AP's will have expired the day before. We'll stay around the pool until it's time for the party or do some shopping at DTD.

Went to the Halloween party on the Tuesday last year and can't wait to do it all again. Am I right in that you don't need separate park admission to get in? From memory I think we picked up our tickets before the day last year and that those without separate park admission could get in at about 4pm. Could someone correct me if I'm wrong?

That's what they are reporting, that's why I would like to do it on Oct 4, our first day at WDW, save us a day on the tickets - we've always gotten the pkg with length of stay tickets!! We're going to DISNEY... (how am I going to wait till October???? DH just interviewed with a new job,,, a raise would come with it... )

This year, I'm doing MVMCP so I called this morning hoping to get the prices for that party since someone already posted the MNSSHP dates and prices.

Well, they must be gettng a lot of calls and are annoyed because I got one rude CM telling me quickly and abruptly that the dates and prices are not out yet and I told her I heard they were and she said that is false advertising and to egnore it and they are not out yet. She said don't believe what you read.

All I wanted was the prices! I think they are getting bombarded with calls and are trying to stop it by saying they know nothing.

You are so right about my luck! I won't be calling anymore. I had no luck all week but they were very friendly until today.

Once I hear they are onsale, I'll call.

Wow!! I didn't realize how popular the MNSSHP was until I found this thread!! I mentioned to my DH and our DD11 a while back that maybe we should go although we hadn't decided anything definite yet but I think I've just decided for us that we're going!! We'll be there from Oct 21-27 and we're leaving on the 27th to go on our first Disney cruise. We would have to go to MNSSHP on either the 23rd or 25th. I would never have thought about buying tickets this far in advance but it sounds like a lot of people do...do the dates closer to the 31st tend to sell out in advance? I'm thinking maybe I better get on the phone this Sunday along with everyone else (assuming that's the big day!!).
