Do adults dress up for MSSHP? It is just the 2 of us.

We did and we saw lots of other adults dressed up too. The best costume I saw was a gruff, stocky-looking father pushing a stroller, smoking a cigarette, and complaining about the outfit his wife put him in. He was one of the spades from Alice in Wonderland...he looked like a sandwich board on stick legs. It was hysterical.

This is us...definitely not the most dressed up, by far:

There are a couple more DIS'r pics on my Day 2 trip report page here

We will be staying at PC Oct 20-23 with DW, DBIL, DSIL and DN. We are going to MNSSHP on Oct 21st.

October 2005 Dis List

If you're not sure that you want to wear a costume, you can always wear a Halloween Tshirt. Target and other stores sell them. They also sell them at MNSSHP, although I think they have a limited number for sale. Or just a hat from one of the shops works well too. We had two kids (both in costumes) and 6 adults (two in costume, two in halloween tshirts, one in a mask and one with a hat).

Dressed up or not, you'll have a blast! :cool1:

I need to change my dates on the list. We added one more day so we are now going Oct 1-6 - still staying at BCV.

Can't wait! Only 197 more days!

I may be planning an Oct. trip and was wondering if both water parks are closed then? AllEars rehab only goes to Aug. Does anyone know a rehab site?

I don't think the water parks will be closed. I'll give this a bump since maybe someone else will be able to answer your question. :Pinkbounc

I wanted to go but can't this year since we have a little one that is due to be born October 17th! :flower:

Without a doubt, MNSSHP is my favorite of the special event nights and I will miss it this year.

Have fun for me while you are there!

then Disney !! Think of all the fun you will have when that little one is old enough to go to the world!!!

Not for sure about us either as we would have to take grandkids out of school since daughter-in-law decided to go visit parents this summer. I like Oct. though because of MNSSH. Also, Universal has HHN!! Been to both once and would love to go again!!!

I'll be there with my family. Our first visit to The Worls ever. We're hoping to go to MNSSHP on the 4th, we were going to do the 2nd but i think we'll relax our first day, maybe hit an outlet store or a water park. I can't wait to try the food at the F&W festival. We will be at the BWV's from the 2nd to the 8th. I know we'll have a blast !!

:bride: HONEYMOON!

Sunday, October 23 - Saturday, October 29
Coronado Springs Resort

We are high school sweethearts who have been dating for over 9 years. We will actually be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of our first date on October 28th!

I can hardly stand it! I have been to WDW 3-4 times, but my fiance' has NEVER BEEN. It will be wonderful. I hope you all have a great time!

We plan to have PS's for the following:
Chef Mickey's Breakfast
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Sci-Fi Dine In Theater
Fulton's Crab House

The only reason you might want to go your first night is that this party doesn't take a day off your tickets. Admission is included in the cost of your party ticket (after about 4 they will let you in). So, if you are paying for multiple day tickets and maybe want to stretch your money a bit, you might consider that as an option.

We are going October 18-23 - partly for MNSSHP and partly for the Funai! We can't wait! We went in October for our honeymoon in 1996 and the weather was great! We will be at All Star Movies!

:cool1: WOW Look at all the Disers at POFQ at the same time as ME!!

 :cheer2:

Better remember to get some Lime Green Mickey Mouse Paint chips at Home Depot.... and pack some lime green shirts!! :bounce:

My family and I will be going down to Disney Oct 1 -8. Not 100% sure where we are staying yet. My grandmother has a few timeshares so she is giving us a week. I'm most looking forward to the MNSSHP. I've never even heard of it before this board. I showed the kids some pics of it and they can't wait.

Hi- Dh, dd 2 and I will be going 10/1-10/8. Staying at the Poly! Thinking about going to the MNSSHP on 10/4 with dinner at LTT. Not sure if dd will be able to stay up late.
I noticed quite a few fellow New Englanders going in the beginning of Oct. See you there! :wave2:

  :banana:I am so looking forward to this trip!

We're going Sept. 29 - Oct. 4. I gave a cast member at the 407-WDISNEY number a chuckle yesterday  when I called to inquire whether I could purchase MNSSHP tickets yet. She told me I was only about 5 months early. . . Yeah, this is something I've always wanted to do and can't wait :jumping1:
