Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

Yes, I did hear about the FREE MYW dinning option. However, it won't work out for me because I'm only staying 1 night at Pop. I'm moving to a rental house offsite from the 2nd -11th. I've been wanting to see what it's like onsite so I decided to spend the first night there. The rental house is only about $5.00 more each night and it offers alot of things that I can't get get at Pop.

I'll be arriving in Orlando before noon. Were going to hit a park for a few hours and then maybe Chef Mickey's for dinner. My son was jjust shy of 3 last year and I worried that he would be scared of the characters but he just loved them. I know all kids all different, hopefully your DD will be fine.

AK was the first park we visited last year. They have character trails that feature Pooh,Tigger, etc...... It was a great way for my son to get aquainted with them.

I hope you have fun finishing up your planning. If were not both at Chef Mickey's on the 1st. ,maybe we can have a meet with some of the other October diser's.

Count us in for oct 2-6 staying at the Pop... Don't know if we're going to MNSSHP yet, but we're looking forward to trying new restaurants thanks to the free dining plan!!!

My DW and DDs(9&5) will be staying at POP from 9/28 - 10/6.

We are officially going to MNSSHP!!! We (me, DH, and DD2-she turns 3 during our trip) will be staying at CBR Sept.30-Oct. 4. We are going to MNSSHP Oct. 2.

Does anyone have any suggestions to make this an extra special birthday?? I know about the birthday buttons and I'm letting her pick which character meal to do that day, but I'm looking for something else. I'm so excited to begin the real planning now!!!

We'll be there 10/1-10/9. First time for MNSSHP which we will attend on the 6th. So excited to see this. It is my DH favorite time of year and I can't wait to see it. We just missed it last trip we went Nov. 4th but we did get to see food & wine festival that was excellent!

A comment I read somewhere on the boards was that the restaurants that do not usually get the kids for the birthdays are usually the best. They put out an extra effort because they don't have it happen every day. Don't know if that's helpful or not.

DH and I are taking DD DSIL and DGS (age 3) for DGS Ist trip to WDW.
We are going to MNSSHP on Friday Oct 7. I can't wait!

YAHOO ... called in today to see about getting a price reduction on airfare as I repriced the trip online (for the zillionth time) and had a CM that would do it and not give me the "sorry once you purchase we can't make changes" spiel. Gotta love those that try for ya!! She was even excited for us. $50 bucks is $50 bucks.

Actually spent time with DH last nite going over restaurant options. While I don't mind planning everything .. it was nice to get his input.

DD selected dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare rather than bkfst so guess I don't have to worry about calling at 7:00 a.m. EST for CRT. (I was actually looking forward to that meal .. maybe I'll make it and not tell them). OR do we opt for dinner at the castle w/out Cinderella .. AAUGH!!!

I have to share with you all...

My DD7 has told be today that she doesn't want to be Princess Aurora for Halloween this year. She want to be Captain Jack Sparrow! I am so excited! Isn't that great!

We'll be there 10/21 - 10/25/05 at the Boardwalk Villas. First time we will be there and looking forward to BWV and our third time at the Food & Wine Festival. This year I will also check out the Funei Classic!!!!

We are also going in October leaving on 10/1 and checking out on 10/8. We will be staying in Wilderness Lodge for the very first time! The thing I am looking most forward to is MNSSHP. I have never been and had no idea it would be going on during our stay until I read a post here a few days ago!! So now I have bought tickets for the 6th and we are so excited!
